Vanessa Hudgens' husband Cole Tucker finally reveals the gender of their second child

Vanessa Hudgens' husband Cole Tucker just revealed the sex of the baby they welcomed two months ago.

The 29-year-old retired MLB shortstop/outfielder told the Baseball Isn't Boring podcast host Rob Bradford on January 13 they had 'one of each' after he asked if they had a son and daughter.

Tucker and the 37-year-old former child star have chosen not to release the names of their newborn princess and 18-month-old son as well as any pictures.

'I'm in the fight,' the biracial baseballer joked of being a father-of-two.

Tucker was shocked to discover his son swings and throws left-handed, noting: 'My wife is super excited to be, like, the T-ball team mom, you know how that goes...He hits the ball off the tee!'

The 6ft3in athlete said the toddler is also swinging golf clubs, shooting hoops as well as learning how to play drums, piano and guitar.

'My wife and I want to expose him to as much as we can, you know?' Tucker explained.

'We just want to show him everything and whatever he wants to do, we'll support him. [If he wants] to be a dentist, sell something, be a school teacher [or] a rock star, it's all good. We're very open-minded.'

The Champagne Lane guest drummer and Hudgens both grew up having naysayers tell them they could never be a baseball player or actress, but they were 'lucky enough' to have supportive parents.

'I don't want [my son] to feel like he has any pressure to be a baseball player,' Tucker said.

'I don't want him to feel, like, "[I] have to go to the big leagues [because] Dad did." That pressure and anxiety would suck, but if you want to, let's go.'

The long-haired Arizonan resumes his Sirius XM duties as an MLB Network Radio host next April when baseball season starts.

Tucker retired last year after playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2019–2022), Colorado Rockies (2023) and Los Angeles Angels (2024).

'I'm doing a lot of dad walks, a lot of up and down incline, you know, little it's like a sled push. But I feel like I'm in pretty good shape for a dad right now,' the dimpled dad said.

'I'm in great dad shape, you know. Yeah. So, a lot of hands and knees, you know. I feel like I'm doing like yoga adjacent-type things.'

On December 2, Tucker and the half-Filipina beauty celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

The inseparable pair began dating in 2020 after they met via Zoom while virtually attending Joe Jonas' meditation group.

Hudgens previously ended her eight-year relationship with Oscar-nominated actor Austin Butler in 2019.

Last Tuesday, the Caliwater co-founder celebrated the 20th anniversary of High School Musical by sharing a behind-the-scenes cafeteria snap alongside Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu and her ex-boyfriend Zac Efron.

Hudgens captioned the Instagram post: 'I cannot believe HSM turns 20 today. Thank you to everyone who's been there since day one. We'll always be in this together.'

The homeschooled millennial - who boasts 77 million social media followers - is every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Alltroo, Smash Kitchen, Virtue Labs, Airbnb and Narwal Robot.

Last July, Hudgens - hasn't been onscreen since 2024 - wrapped her role as romance novelist Abby Lynch opposite Mira Sorvino on the Vancouver set of Anthony Thorne's 1969-set dramatic thriller Quiet Storm.

However, there's been no update on the SoCal native's role in Derrick Borte's action spy thriller The Black Kaiser since 2023.
