Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz had the biggest smiles on their faces in their first sighting since publishing a scathing six-page statement about his family.
Despite the eyes of the globe being on the controversial couple amid the family drama, on Thursday they enjoyed a carefree walk with their dog in Malibu, with their arms around one another.
It marks the first outing for the amateur chef, 26, and the actress, 31, since they released a statement denouncing his family, in which he accused his mother Victoria of calling him 'evil' and pledged his allegiance to his wife on Monday.
But in stark contrast to his withering words, Brooklyn appeared happy and relaxed as he strolled along the beach with Nicola and their rescue dog, Lamb.
Part of the statement included an accusation that his mother Victoria, 51, refused to help when Nicola asked for her support to help save displaced dogs during the Los Angeles fires at the beginning of this year.
This apparently came as a big blow to the couple who had previously 'dropped everything' to support his family at fashion shows, parties and other media events.

Brooklyn appeared in high spirits on the day
On the walk, Brooklyn and Nicola seemed more loved-up than ever, following his accusations that his parents attempted to sabotage his relationship with his wife rather than supporting their marriage.
Nicola opted for coastal chic in a cream knit poncho and a pair of blue jeans with ballet pumps, accessorising with a pair of stylish shades.
The casually dressed star was carrying a takeaway coffee cup and snuggled into Brooklyn, who walked with his arm wrapped around his wife.
Brooklyn was dressed in a slouchy brown jumper and dark trousers, which he styled with slip-on shoes and a backwards baseball cap.
Across the pond this week, his family were met by the news of his jaw-dropping statement, which has grabbed headlines all over the world.
Since the announcement, they've been busying themselves, with his brother Romeo arriving in Paris with his girlfriend Kim Turnbull for Fashion Week and their youngest brother Cruz promoting his new music.
Brooklyn's father David is currently in Davos, Switzerland, attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) speaking about media and youth.
He avoided discussing his eldest son, but did touch on his belief that children should be allowed to make their own mistakes.

Brooklyn Beckham's statement in full
I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.
My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.
Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.
They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.
During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me "evil" because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.
The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was "not blood" and "not family." Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.
Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last Summer.
My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one. My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.
Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad's birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him. He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.
When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn't invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.
My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family "love" is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it's at the expense of our professional obligations.
We've gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show 'our perfect family.' But the one time my wife asked for my mum's support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.
The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief. My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.
Meanwhile, Victoria is in the UK and hasn't been sighted since the claims were published. She has only posted online to promote her eponymous fashion brand and wish her former Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton happy birthday.
Victoria is said to be 'devastated' by Brooklyn's latest blow, after taking the brunt in the vicious family fallout with the couple.
Despite once proudly declaring he was a 'mama's boy', Brooklyn focused on Victoria in the statement, with his vitriolic comments leaving her 'on the floor in pieces'.
Among Brooklyn's long list of claims was the accusation that his mum 'hijacked' his first dance at his 2022 wedding and 'danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone'.
On Wednesday Brooklyn's wedding DJ Fat Tony waded into the claims, sharing a video of Lucy Punch's character Amanda in BBC sitcom Motherland dancing wildly to the Lil' Kleine and Ronnie Flex track Drank & Drugs in front of her school mum friends.
The clip was captioned 'POV: Victoria Beckham during Brooklyn's first dance' and Fat Tony added the words: 'Actual video footage it’s true I was there !'
Tony's partner Stavros Agapiou has also backed up Brooklyn's 'inappropriate' dancing comment.
'I was there and she did, he's telling the truth,' he said in an Instagram comment, which has since been deleted - with Stavros instead posting: 'Good on him for finally speaking out!'

The two families seem even further from reconciliation than ever before
Brooklyn claimed that he had 'never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,' after Victoria's dancing.
He announced on Monday that he has cut all ties with his parents and does 'not want to reconcile with my family', adding, 'I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life.'
Brooklyn and Nicola have been at the heart of the acrimonious divide that has resulted in them snubbing all significant family celebrations over recent months, including his father Sir David's milestone 50th birthday and knighthood.
In the wake of the fallout, Victoria has bagged her first ever solo number one after a huge social media campaign pushed her to the top of the chart.
Victoria's 2001 single Not Such An Innocent Girl, a track which showcased Posh Spice's raunchy dance moves, has shot to number one on the iTunes chart in the UK and Ireland.
The chart positions have been driven by a social media campaign which is determined to 'fix the national tragedy' that 'Victoria is the only Spice Girl without a solo #1.'
'Nothing says "British Culture" like collectively deciding to send Posh to the top of the charts because her son roasted her on Insta. Imagine both their faces,' reads a viral post on Instagram which has been shared by the likes of Katherine Ryan and Luisa Zissman.

Victoria's youngest son Cruz also helped with the promo effort, using his mum's song to soundtrack one of his Instagram Stories on Thursday.
Victoria was the last of the Spice Girls to go solo but despite huge promo blitzes in the early noughties, she failed to match the solo success of her bandmates.
Not Such An Innocent Girl served as her official debut solo single but despite an unprecedented media campaign, she was beaten to the top spot by Kylie Minogue's monster hit Can't Get You Out Of My Head.
Months earlier Victoria's team-up with producer duo True Steppers and former boyband alumni Dane Bowers also lost out in a massive chart clash.
That track in fact scored the biggest first week sales for a solo Spice Girl single with over 180,584 copies sold in just a few days but lost the top spot to Spiller and Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love), following a much-publicised chart battle.
Victoria, who soon pivoted to fashion design after her music flopped, has previously revealed producers used to turned off her microphone while she was on stage with the Spice Girls.
Victoria has yet to comment on Brooklyn's statement, instead choosing to post a happy birthday message to her Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton and plug youngest son Cruz's own blossoming music career.
Cruz sold out his upcoming live show on March 27 at The Courtyard Theatre just hours after tickets went on sale.
Following the news, he told his fans on social media: 'UK... Absolutely no words, thank you a million. Looks like I'll have to be adding more shows?!?'

Notably, Cruz added the Spice Girls track Who Do You Think You Are? to his story.
His proud mum Victoria shared his sell out announcement as she simply said 'wow'.
Whilst Victoria has not been spotted since Brooklyn's statement, Sir David was heckled yesterday as he faced the media at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
When asked about the feud, he declined to answer any direct questions but he later spoke, somewhat ironically, on the perils and virtues of children using social media.
In an interview on CNBC's Squawk Box, he said that he has tried to 'educate' his own children about the dangers of social media apps while also showing them how they can work for 'good'.
'I've always spoken about social media and the power of social media for the good and for the bad,' he said on stage.
The former Manchester United star said he'd been able to use his 'platform' and his position as a Unicef ambassador to 'make people aware of what's going on around the world for children'.
He added: 'I've tried to do the same with my children, to educate them.
Brooklyn's six-page missive posted on social media on Monday, showed the extent of the Beckham family fall-out
Brooklyn went on to address his wedding to Nicola, claiming there had been repeated attempts to ruin their relationship
He claimed: 'The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was "not blood" and "not family"'
'My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we've tried to come together as one,' he continued
'The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,' he added

'They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That's how they learn.'
Meanwhile fans have begged Victoria for a Spice Girls reunion tour announcement to distract from Brooklyn's astonishing attack.
Flooding social media with comments, they speculated how Posh Spice reuniting with her former bandmates would be the perfect way to distract from the noise of her nuclear fallout with Brooklyn.
One posted on X, formerly Twitter: 'I think it’s time to reunite with the Spice Girls. That might be the only way Victoria Beckham can come out of this.'
More fans of the 90s girl group also shared the same sentiment: 'Oh Victoria Beckham is definitely going to need to set up THE SPICE GIRLS reunion and go on tour to rehabilitate her image now. Watch her bring back Posh Spice & the girls';
'Perfect time for queen Victoria to put that pr to good use and do the spice girls reunion tour';
'Victoria Beckhams PR team can only do one thing to make people stop talking about this Brooklyn mess. And that’s announce a Wembley run of Spice Girls shows with all five girls. Sharpish';
'Theres only one way the Beckham brand can bury these Brooklyn revelations. They are in need of some great PR. It’s time for Victoria to announce that she’s agreeing to a Spice Girls reunion in time for the 30th anniversary';
'We need that Spice Girls announcement.. right about now'; 'Brooklyn Beckham might have just gotten us the full Spice Girls reunion'.
The Spice Girls last performed together during the London 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony, and without fashion designer Victoria in 2019 because she wanted to focus on her family and her business.

Elsewhere on Thursday Nicola's ex-boyfriend's sister Alana Hadid weighed in on the explosive argument.
Despite Brooklyn's statement calling for privacy, Alana replied to photographer Eli Rezkallah's comment reading: 'Ending an eight paragraph rant about his family's dirty laundry with "all we want is privacy" is all I need to know'
Alana, 40, is sister to models Gigi and Bella, their eldest sister Marielle and Anwar, 26 - who Nicola dated from 2016 to 2018, just one year before she met Brooklyn - and has insisted that the actress has 'wanted to be famous for years'
Elsewhere on Thursday Nicola's ex-boyfriend's sister Alana Hadid weighed in on the explosive argument.
Alana, 40, is sister to models Gigi and Bella, their eldest sister Marielle and Anwar, 26 - who Nicola dated from 2016 to 2018, just one year before she met Brooklyn - and has insisted that the actress has 'wanted to be famous for years'.
Despite Brooklyn's statement calling for privacy, Alana replied to photographer Eli Rezkallah's comment reading: 'Ending an eight paragraph rant about his family's dirty laundry with "all we want is privacy" is all I need to know'.
Alana, whose entire family are said to have had issues with Nicola both during and after the romance, echoed comments made by many, replying to Eli: 'Right and that girl doesn't want privacy she's been trying to be famous for a decade'.
Alana's comment about Nicola comes after Nicola 'caused tensions' in the Hadid household after Anwar stopped talking to his family while he was dating the star.
The couple dated when she was 22 and he was 17, and while there were no official reports, there were rumours at the time that Anwar grew distant from his family.
A tweet claimed: 'Brooklyn Beckham's wife previously dated Anwar Hadid, and he also stopped talking to his parents. Yolanda [Anwar's mum] said, "Not on my watch."'
Much like with comments about Victoria, in 2017 Nicola played happy families, saying: 'He comes from an amazing family. Gigi and Bella are so, so sweet. I just love his family so much. They're feminine, strong girls. To have that around is amazing.'
Yolanda is also said to have reached out to David and Victoria amid the feud, causing fans to raise eyebrows and come up with their own theories after she suffered her own 'strained' relationship with Nicola during her romance with Anwar.
