Teddi Mellencamp's father, musician John Mellencamp, has urged her to relocate home to Indiana as she recovers from stage four brain cancer.
The 74-year-old singer was a guest on Friday's episode of the Today show, where he revealed, 'I've tried to talk her into moving back home. I said, 'Move back to Indiana, bring the kids and just come back and live in Indiana,' but she won't do it.'
Teddi shares daughters Slate, 13; Dove, six in February; and son Cruz, 11, with estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
'I'm going to go out and see her [in Los Angeles],' John, who described the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star as 'really sick', also shared on Friday.
The mom-of-three underwent emergency surgery in February 2025 to remove large tumors in her brain, which were a result of her 2022 melanoma metastasizing.
She later began radiation and immunotherapy to fight the cancer, which advanced to stage four.

Last October Teddi revealed her cancer had become undetectable after undergoing monthslong treatment.
However, her dad told Today show hosts Craig Melvin, Dyler Dreyer, and Al Roker that his daughter's health remains precarious.
He explained, 'You can't say you're cancer-free with the type of cancer she's got for three years.
'She has lesions in her brain. It went from her back — just a little, teeny spot on her — and over the last couple years, it grew and it got inside her brain and her lungs.'
In an October Instagram post Teddi thanked her dad for showing up for her throughout her medical crisis.
'It's been 10 months since my brain surgery and I am so grateful to @johnmellencamp or continuously being there for me and my family the entire time,' she wrote in the caption.
'Love you so much, Cougs. Thank you for everything ❤️,' she added.
The former Bravo personality appeared on her Two T's in a Pod podcast on Thursday and gave listeners an update on how she's faring.

Dolores Catania has been co-hosting the show alongside Tamra Judge so Teddi can focus on resting and recovering.
'I've been doing a lot of therapy, a lot of rest, a lot of hanging with the family,' she shared.
The blonde beauty added, 'A lot of trying to get myself together because, apparently, I'm struggling with massive PTSD from everything that happened. I didn't really realize it, so I'm starting to feel a little better. The cloud is lifting.'
The effects of the growing tumors were present for six months before Teddi finally sought medical attention.
She'd been suffering from migraines but ignored the pain as she dealt with other issues in her life, Teddi said on a March 2025 episode of her podcast.
The former reality television star has shared each step of her treatment and recovery with fans online.
