It hasn't been long since Solo Leveling took the world as a whole by storm with its anime adaptation, thrusting the franchise as a whole into global popularity. Even so, the series has been quiet for some time now, with the manhwa having wrapped up back in December 2021 and Season 3 of the anime yet to be officially confirmed a whole year later.

Things have gotten even quieter since the series' well-loved sequel, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has also gone on a break. That said, amidst this silence, much like Jinwoo, Solo Leveling's manhwa has just emerged from the shadows with a brand-new release and it was just shadow-dropped without any warning.

Solo Leveling’s Manhwa Just Shadow-Dropped a New Chapter

Igris, one of Jinwoo's strongest shadow soldiers, recently made his debut in Solo Leveling: Arise as a playable character. Hyping up his release, Solo Leveling recently released a new manhwa chapter, adapting Igris' backstory from when he was still a human knight known as Sian Halat.

The chapter was quietly dropped on the Solo Leveling: Arise forum on the day of Igris' in-game release, and the entire chapter is available to read in English. Bits of the new chapter were also turned into a teaser posted on the Solo Leveling: Arise's YouTube channel, with Reagan Murdock voicing Igris.
