Rachel McAdams was supported by both her real life love and her onscreen husband at her Hollywood Walk Of Fame ceremony on Monday.

The actress made her first ever public appearance with her boyfriend of ten years Jamie Linden at the Los Angeles event.

Also in attendance was Domhnall Gleeson - Rachel's co-star from her 2013 romance movie About Time.

Despite being together for over a decade and sharing two children together Rachel and Jamie, a screenwriter best known for We Are Marshall and Dear John, have kept their relationship out of the public eye.

Domhnall proudly posed for group snaps over a decade after sharing the screen with Rachel in Richard Curtis' heartbreaking movie.

Sam Raimi, who directed the actress in her upcoming film Send Help as well as her co-star Dylan O'Brien, were also there to watch her receive her star on the Walk Of Fame.

The Canadian star's parents Lance and Sandra McAdams also attended.

Rachel gave a shoutout to her partner Jamie and her sister Kayleen McAdams during her emotinal acceptance speech, gushing through her tears: 'To Jamie my North Star, Kayleen my other North Star. Thank you for being such a great team. And keeping me quasi-normal.'

Jamie and Rachel were first romantically linked in 2016 but have kept their relationship ultra private, never walking a red carpet together and rarely speaking about one another.

In rare comments about her partner, Rachel previously joked about ending up with a fellow creative.

'We live such a gypsy life as actors,' she explained, 'so [it's great] being with someone who can be on the road as well.'

They share two children - a son born in 2018 and a daughter born in 2020 - whose names haven't been revealed to the public.

Speaking to the Sunday Times after the birth of her son, Rachel explained: 'I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn't.'

'[People say] your life is not your own any more, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person,' she continued.
