Pregnant Hailee Steinfeld's Husband Josh Allen Reacts to Her Golden Globes Look After Playoffs Win
Hailee Steinfeld had a pitch-perfect celeb run-in at the 2026 Golden Globes.
After stepping out as a presenter at the 83rd annual event in Los Angeles, the Sinners star revealed that she was most excited to tell her husband Josh Allen about the sweet conversation she had with Adam Sandler on the red carpet.
“For context, Adam Sandler is a permanent fixture in our house. We always have one of his movies on,” Hailee explained in her Beau Society newsletter Jan. 16, noting that "the other night" they were watching his 2011 comedy Just Go With It. “So when Adam Sandler waved me down by the entrance to the Globes, and said, ‘Hey, buddy! I loved Sinners! You’re doing amazing. And congrats to Josh!' I could not wait to tell my husband."
Indeed, the Oscar nominee and the Buffalo Bills quarterback, both 29, are such big fans of Adam that they even dressed as characters Bobby Boucher and Vicki Vallencourt from his 1998 movie Waterboy for Halloween this past year, as evidenced by a throwback photo of the couple in their costumes shared alongside the anecdote.
Another actor Hailee was thrilled to see at the star-studded award show? The Edge of Seventeen star thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Jennifer Lawrence, who she revealed she's known since she was 13.
In fact, it was the first time the longtime friends had reunited since Hailee and Josh announced they are expecting their first baby together in December.

"We haven’t seen each other in a long time," Hailee recalled, "but when she noticed me—and my bump—her whole face lit up."
She added, "She’s supportive and wonderful.”
And while Hailee may not have shared Josh's reaction to her epic interaction with Adam, it's safe to say he's impressed by her glamorous night out. After all, following the occasion—where Sinners picked up the trophies for Best Score and Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement—he reshared a photo of her in her custom pink Prada gown to his Instagram Story, adding drooling and heart-eye emojis in the caption.
