Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Cast And Character Guide

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy introduces a dynamic and eclectic new cast and brings back several beloved Star Trek legends. Executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy season 1 consists of 10 episodes and premieres January 15 on Paramount+.

Set in the late 32nd century after the end of Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy centers on the first Starfleet Academy class to study in San Francisco on Earth in 120 years. Overseeing the young cadets is Captain Nahla Ake (Academy Award winner Holly Hunter), the Chancellor of Starfleet Academy.

Starfleet Academy's new generation of cadets don't have an easy time, as the resurgent United Federation of Planets is threatened by a new enemy, Nus Braka (Academy Award nominee Paul Giamati), who shares a dark history with Captain Ake and cadet Caleb Mir (Sandro Rosta).
