Sally Obermeder has undergone a complete hair transformation.

The Real Housewives of Sydney star, 53, stunned followers on Monday when she shared a gallery of photos and a video to Instagram showcasing her new look.

The former TV host got the chop this week, visiting her hairdresser, James Banks, for a 'dramatic' haircut which left her with a chic bob.

Typically sporting longer dark tresses, the media personality told her stylist she wanted something completely different.

'I'm thinking dramatic. Either here or here,' she said, indicating to the top of her shoulders and her chin.

James went on to talk Sally into going all the way, cutting her locks up to her chin for a 'Parisian' look and opting for a lighter hair colour.

Sally was left very satisfied by the results at the end of the video when James unveiled her new look.

'Wow!' she exclaimed with a big smile. 'Oh my god, I love it more than I thought I would. You nailed it.'

'Well, my husband's overseas so at least I nailed something,' James joked.

Sally's last transformation was in August last year, when she had also been sporting a bob but decided to slip in some very long extensions for a different look.

She underwent a glamorous makeover for the Logies, pouring her figure into a fitted gold dress as she shed years off her age with a dramatic tan.

Her highlighted locks were so long they fell right down to her hips.

Sally rose to fame in the 2000s as a presenter on Sydney Weekender, before moving on to roles on Today Tonight, The Morning Show and The Daily Edition.

She left the Seven Network in 2020 before embarking on a reality TV career.

The television personality then joined The Real Housewives of Sydney for its second season in 2023.

In recent years, the star has been busy with her wellness brand, SWIISH, which she was inspired to start after battling cancer.

Sally was forced to fight an aggressive stage-three breast cancer, which she has since overcome.

She was diagnosed with the disease back in October 2011, at 41 weeks pregnant, the day before she was due to give birth to her first daughter Annabelle.
