Proud Rihanna celebrates A$AP Rocky's SNL performance at star-studded afterparty with Sabrina Carpenter and Finn Wolfhard

Rihanna proudly celebrated her partner A$AP Rocky after he made his musical guest debut on the latest episode of SNL over the weekend. 

The 37-year-old songstress - who has been supporting the rapper as he dropped his new album Don't Be Dumb on January 16 - joined Rocky at a star-studded afterparty in NYC with other attendees such as Sabrina Carpenter and Finn Wolfhard. 

The Everyday hitmaker, also 37, took to the SNL stage to perform three songs from his latest LP - and also showed off his comedic skills when he appeared in one of the sketches during the big night. 

Rihanna held hands with Rocky as they arrived to the bash on Saturday while putting on a stylish display. 

The Diamonds singer slipped into a black skirt that fell down to her knees and also sported a tan and blue-colored jacket. 

The mom-of-three additionally opted for a pair of knee-high boots and carried a small blue purse in her hand. 

A dark navy Yankees cap was placed on top of her dark locks which flowed down past her shoulders in light waves. 

Rihanna accessorized her outfit with flashy necklaces and also sported a pair of fashionable black shades. 

Rocky also showcased his own personal style wearing a vibrant red sweater as well as a pair of light blue jeans and a long patterned coat. 

The music artist slipped into a pair of sleek red shoes and also completed the look with black sunglasses. 

The couple - whose relationship was confirmed back in 2021 - were seen strolling side-by-side in the bustling streets of NYC as they made their way to the afterparty. 

Shortly before, Rocky made his musical guest debut on the latest SNL episode which had been hosted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard. 

The rapper released his fourth studio album Don't Be Dumb earlier this week and features a number of stars such as Danny Elfman, Doechii and Tyler, The Creator. 

He performed three tracks from the LP on SNL including Punk Rocky, Helicopter and Don't Be Dumb. 

Rocky had a busy night and also appeared in a humorous podcast skit with host Wolfhound, other SNL cast members and surprise guest Sabrina Carpenter. 

The Espresso hitmaker was later spotted making an appearance at the afterparty in the Big Apple and flashed a big smile as she arrived to the venue. 

Carpenter donned a cream-colored satin dress which was layered with a black coat to keep her warm in the chilly temperatures. 

She also wore a pair of closed-toed, white platform heels and allowed her blonde locks to cascade down past her shoulders in elegant curls. 

For a finishing touch, the Grammy winner carried a black Valentino purse over the crook of her right arm. 

Wolfhard - who recently celebrated the conclusion of Netflix's Stranger Things late last month - bundled up as he made an appearance at the bash. 

The actor opted for a pair of dark gray trousers as well as an eye-catching red puffer jacket and white Adidas sneakers. 

Rihanna has been cheering on Rocky this week amid the release of his latest album and his musical guest appearance on SNL.  

She was seen out in NYC on Friday ahead of his SNL musical debut while donning a fashionable look. 

Rihanna and Rocky confirmed their romance in 2021 and are parents to three children: sons RZA, three, and Riot, two as well as four-month-old daughter Rocki Irish. 

The Love On The Brain hitmaker welcomed her baby girl last year in September, with a source telling People at the time that she is 'over the moon.'

'She's obviously so grateful for her boys - all three of them - but she's been ready for some more girly energy.'

The insider added that Rihanna has 'always dreamed of having a little girl. She's been shopping a lot and is so excited about dressing her daughter. It's a whole new world for her.' 

Rocky recently reflected on how his mother had been a part of his relationship with the songstress during an episode of Popcast earlier this week. 

'My mother used to say s*** like, "I know you like this girl that you with right now. But I want you with Riri."' 

The rapper continued, 'I used to be like, "Ma why you keep saying that? That girl don't even want me like that. Like be cool, Ma. Like that's just my friend. Chill."' 

Years down the road, the music artist is in a relationship with Rihanna and the pair share three kids - with Rocky adding that 'mothers know best.' 

He then gave rare insight into his romance with the Diamonds singer as well as their compatibility. 

'It was just like we were on the same page. Born the same year. My dad is from her country.'

The star added, 'My family, when I go back, I get to see both sides of my family. It's so many similarities, it's just funny. We laugh about it a lot.'

Rihanna is also reportedly planning to announce a string of U.K. shows as well as a musical comeback, according to The Sun. 

A source told the outlet that the songstress 'is raring to go and cannot wait to get back on the road.

'She had to cancel her shows planned at the London Stadium last summer because she was expecting her daughter. But the cancellation couldn't have worked more in her favor.

'This month she will celebrate the tenth anniversary of Anti, which coincides with a decade since she last toured, so it feels massive to her and her team.'

The insider also told the publication that the singer is ready to take part in 'massive' concerts.
