Wolverine is in the Avengers' latest release, and the Marvel hero interacts with quite a few exciting characters, all while wearing the perfect suit. In terms of live-action appearances, Marvel Studios' X-Men movie is expected to reboot Wolverine after over two decades of Hugh Jackman playing Logan. That said, the beloved actor is unlikely to be done with the role just yet.

Multiple reports claim that Jackman's Wolverine will appear in Marvel's upcoming Avengers movies, Doomsday and Secret Wars, though the actor and Marvel Studios have yet to comment on it. Before then, anyone wanting to get their fix of Wolverine with the Avengers can try out the superhero team's latest project, which features a surprising appearance from Logan in another medium.

Marvel Has Revealed What New Avengers Special's Wolverine Looks Like

LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails was released on Disney+ on November 14, 2025. The two-part Avengers event series takes Hawkeye on an animated adventure as he has to save heroes like Thor, the Hulk, and more Avengers from a mind-control plot. Clint Barton then enlists the help of a few underrated Marvel heroes, such as Tigra and Black Cat, to do so.

Marvel's new Avengers series offers an exciting adventure that might not be groundbreaking, but is a lot of fun and spotlights Hawkeye, who needed it.

Wolverine's role in the story is smaller than that of most heroes who appear in the event series. Logan can be seen in a cameo scene when Sabretooth tries to lift Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, and is sent flying through a building when the God of Thunder calls upon the hammer. Sabretooth flies right through a card game, where multiple heroes can be seen.

Wolverine dons his classic yellow and blue X-Men costume in the Avengers special. Other Marvel heroes seen in the Avengers TV show cameo include Nightcrawler, Gambit, Howard the Duck, The Thing, She-Hulk, and Demolition Man. The latter was the star of a previous Avengers special, LEGO Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition, which was released on Disney+ on October 18, 2024.

How The New Avengers Special's Wolverine Compares To Other Versions Of The Marvel Hero?

Hugh Jackman As Wolverine In Full Suit And Helmet Growling In Deadpool & Wolverine

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine has become the most popular version of the character across all mediums since his debut in 2000s X-Men. The character recently appeared in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine, which has become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time. In it, Jackman played several Wolverine variants from all over the multiverse, wearing different comics-accurate suits.

However, the main version of Wolverine in the MCU movie was the one to wear the hero's classic yellow and blue X-Men suit from Marvel Comics, which is the same suit that appears in LEGO form in the new Avengers series. The main difference between the MCU suit and the Avengers special's is that Jackman's Wolverine suit had turned sleeveless when he finally put on the cowl.
