Madonna made a political speech while embarking on a desert horse race amid her lavish family getaway in Morocco on Friday.

The singer, 67, was boyfriend Akeem Morris, 29, and several of her children, including Rocco, 25, David, 20, Mercy, 19, and twins Stella and Estere, 13. 

Taking to Instagram Madonna shared a clip of their daring escapades as they rode stallions through the dune as well as a glimpse of their desert camp.

The Papa Don't Preach hitmaker looked effortlessly stylish in a faux fur trimmed padded jacket and shades, before swapping her her cowboy hat for a safety helmet. 

Making sure to touch up her lipstick, she later joined her kids in donning traditional headscarves as their travels took them to a nearby beach. 

However despite the carefree getaway, Madonna captioned the video with an impassioned statement in support for the people of Iran amid conflict in the country.

Over the last few weeks mass protests against the regime have broken out across Iran that have left 2,500 protesters dead.

Madonna penned: 'Hold Tight ………. I cannot think of a more relevant phrase than this as we enter the year of the Fire Horse! As I reflect on my time in Morocco over the holidays I think of all the people in IRAN who are fighting a much needed, Revolution and willing to die for what they believe in'.

'We take so much for granted. Myself included. The freedom to travel the world. To wear what I want to wear'.

She went on: 'To ride a horse across the desert. To speak Freely and not be silenced by punishment, torture, and possibly death. To sing. To dance. To choose my spiritual path, not someone else’s.. The women of Iran do not have this freedom. 

'I stand with them. The people of Iran have not known freedom for centuries I cannot claim to truly know the suffering that has been endured but my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Iran. The time is now. Hold Tight!

Before adding: 'I stand with Iran. Let their voices be heard.. FREE IRAN!'.

It comes after Madonna's previous post from the trip showing her putting on a loved-up display with her toy boy boyfriend. 

In one snap, the Vogue hitmaker wrapped up warm in a chic black puffer coat and a paisley scarf as she posed for the camera alongside her boyfriend.

Akeem looked totally at ease while riding the horse after the group's trip took them to a nearby beach 

Shielding her eyes behind shades the queen of pop showcased her smooth visage when later swapping her horse for a car

She further accessorised her look with a khaki fedora and black oversized shades, while Akeem sported a black gilet and a brown hoody. 

In another stunning sunset snap, Madonna donned a brown faux fur coat paired with a scarf, posing next to a roaring camp fire. 

The star also donned riding gear as she went sightseeing in Morocco and the family enjoyed a camel riding experience.

Meanwhile, in other stylish snaps, Madonna donned a chic faux-fur coat paired with an all-black ensemble, striking up a pose on a gold statue

The Queen of Pop added inches to her frame with snakeprint cowboy boots, completing her western-inspired look with a brown fedora. 

Elsewhere, she wore a long black faux-fur hooded coat, striking a sultry pose for the camera, while her son, Rocco, sported a red and black graphic-print T-shirt, posing for the camera on the ground. 

It comes after Madonna celebrated the New Year in Marrakesh in style with her boyfriend Akeem

For the occasion, Madonna turned heads in a strapless black velvet gown, complete with lace gloves and a dramatic, flowing cloak.

Meanwhile, Akeem cut a dapper figure in a coordinating velvet suit, which he paired with a pearl necklace.

Throughout the evening, the family enjoyed a lavish dinner with live music and sparklers, before heading out into the desert for a traditional horsemen show.
