Kristin Cavallari says her school-age sons' friends heard her talking about her sex life with toyboy ex Mark Estes

Kristin Cavallari revealed she has become more mindful of discussing raunchy topics on her podcast due to her kids.

The reality TV star, 39, shared that finding out her school-age sons' friends heard her talking about her sex life with younger ex Mark Estes, 25, on her Let's Be Honest podcast was a 'real eye-opener.'

Cavallari shares sons Camden, 13, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, 10, with ex-husband Jay Cutler, 42, said she goes 'through phases' of censoring what she says on her digital show.

'So this is actually the one thing that made me be like, "Whoa, I need to watch what I'm saying,"' she told fellow podcast host Rachel Bilson on Tuesday, while referencing her sons.

'They told me recently that like a year ago or something when I was dating that younger guy, that their friends said they saw he and I played a drinking game or something on the podcast, and they saw some of the sexual stuff that we were talking about.'

It was that moment that made her pause and rethink how candid she wanted to be.

'And I was like, "Whoa," that made me really pause,' she said.

'I need to start being careful because it's really, I don't care at the end of the day what Jax and Camden think about me. It's my kids. But I can't be saying stuff that's gonna affect them and their friends.'

'I'll definitely pull back, and I feel like I've found this way to kind of say stuff without just saying it.' 

The 'younger guy' she was referring to is TikTok star Mark Estes, who is 13 years younger than her.

She also touched on her relationship with Estes, stating, 'It was fun until it wasn't.' 

The two dated for seven months in 2024.

In December of 2024, Estes appeared on an episode of her podcast, where they played a drinking game and chatted about a number of topics, including if either of them had ever faked an orgasm. 

'No, I don’t think I've faked an orgasm in my entire life,' she candidly shared at the time. 'I don't need to.'

She then asked him if he thought mature women were better in bed.

'Yeah, you're the best sex I ever had for sure,' he told her.

The couple had called it quits after seven months of dating in October 2024 as a source told DailyMail.com at the time that age ended up being a factor.

The insider said: 'It was Kristin who pulled the plug on this and although Mark was not onboard with it, he really has no other choice.'

'The age gap was not an issue in the beginning but then it was because of the different places that they are in their lives.'

'Mark was hoping that it was going to last. He did ask her to reconsider and still wants her to. He had gotten close to her kids.' 

The source explained that Kristin's certainty about not wanting more kids was the reason for her decision. 

Following the demise of the relationship, she told Extra's Billy Bush that her ideal guy 'would be 45, not famous, whatsoever. Maybe he owns a construction company in Tennessee.'

'A little bit older, has maybe a couple of kids that are also a little bit older, maybe they're going to college soon.'

She went on to reveal that she was currently 'manifesting' her dream guy while insisting that she wasn't talking about anyone in her life specifically.

The ex-flame of Morgan Wallen welcomed her three children during her seven-year marriage to ex-husband Jay, which ended in 2020. Their divorce was finalized in 2022. 

Kristin first found fame on two MTV reality shows Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County (2004)-2006) and The Hills (2009-2010).
