Judd Apatow and Glen Powell‘s forthcoming country music comedy will hit theaters on February 5, 2027, Universal announced Friday.
The film, about a country western star in free fall, is set to star Powell and Cristin Milioti. Apatow will direct from a script that he and Powell co-wrote.
Apatow will produce through his Apatow Productions’ longstanding overall deal with the studio, which dates back to his 2005 directorial debut, “The 40-Year-Old Virgin.” Powell and Dan Cohen will produce through Barnstorm’s first-look deal with the studio, which originated with his starring role in “Twisters.” The disaster movie was a massive hit, grossing $267.8 million overall at the domestic box office. Kevin Misher will also produce for Misher Films.
