EXCLUSIVE: Studio Lambert, the production company behind The Traitors and Squid Game: The Challenge, is expanding its U.S. operation.

The All3Media-owned company is launching a new label with Jon Barinholtz and Rob Belushi. The pair are actors turned game show creators, having recently developed and produced The Perfect Line for the Game Show Network (GSN) and CBS Media Ventures.

Barinholtz and Belushi have created Inner Drive Entertainment, which will be housed under Studio Lambert.

It is the second label launched by the company in the last twelve months, having established MindMeld Entertainment with Below Deck exec producers Jill Goslicky and Vivian Choi last year.

Barinholtz and Belushi met on the Chicago comedy scene 20 years ago. Barinholtz, who is the brother of The Studio star Ike Barinholtz, has appeared in series such as NBC’s Superstore and American Auto. Belushi, who is the son of Jim Belushi and nephew of John Belushi, has appeared in CBS’ How I Met Your Mother and Spike’s The Joe Schmo Show. He also hosted GSN game show Get A Clue.

The pair recently exec produced the Deborah Norville-hosted The Perfect Line, which landed a 180-episode order for GSN and syndicated on CBS stations.

The will work closely with Jack Burgess, President of Studio Lambert USA, alongside Chief Creative Officer Tim Harcourt and CEO Stephen Lambert in London.

“Since our time coming up in Chicago, connecting playfully with audiences has been the spark that guides us. We apply that guiding principle to everything we create and develop. Jack, Tim, and Stephen get what we do and it’s such an incredible opportunity to join Studio Lambert and All3Media,” Barinholtz and Belushi said. “They are the best of the best. We hope to be the Dennis Rodman to their ’95 Bulls and we will be dying our hair accordingly, but above all we can’t wait to get started doing what we love most: making big, joyful, and funny shows that excite people and keep them smiling long after.”

Burgess added, “Jon and Rob have a rare creative energy, combining wit and originality in a way that seamlessly fits with Studio Lambert. I’m excited to be working with them and can’t wait to share what we are developing together.”

Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media, said, “Jon and Rob bring an exceptionally smart and exciting approach to format development.  Plus, they are really interesting guys with real passion for entertainment in its broadest sense. I am delighted that they are joining Jack and the outstanding Studio Lambert team.”
