Jessica Simpson Shares Rare Photo of Her and Eric Johnson’s 3 Kids
Jessica Simpson’s dating life isn’t a public affair.
Indeed, the “With You” singer doesn’t need help when it comes to finding romance amid her split from husband Eric Johnson—and she’s certainly not looking for love on TV.
“I have options,” the 45-year-old told TMZ when asked about the rumors she’s in the running as the next Bachelorette. “I’m good.”
And in response to the “huge ratings” Jessica’s appearance on the show would bring, she further pushed against the idea, noting, “I don’t care about that.”
Jessica hasn’t been shy when it comes to sharing what she’s looking for after announcing her breakup with Eric in last January. The “Irresistible” singer—who shares kids Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6, with the former NFL star—admitted she may be in her cougar era.
“I think I'm into younger men at the moment.” she told Extra in October. “I feel like younger guys kinda like the confidence of an older women, I'm discovering.”
As Jessica noted about her romantic life, “I am having fun!”
Though she’s dipping her toes back into the dating pond, Jessica has made it clear that she’s all about maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship with her ex. In fact, the former couple put on a united front in September as they watched her sister Ashlee Simpson Ross return to the stage in Las Vegas.

"We are all a big, happy family,” Jessica told E! News in September. “So it's important for all of us.”
The All’s Fair actress also made it clear that Eric was part of the holiday season to ensure that their kids maintain a connection with him, despite what they are going through.
“No matter what, your kid is half the other person,” Jessica told TMZ in December. “Always have respect in what you say around [your kids] so they can always have a good perspective on it. Unconditional love is important.”
