The second evening of TOTY promo has thrown the FC 26 Web App into a mud, as players are unable to login to the website.
The problem appears to have begun after the content refresh day on Jan. 17. As of writing, EA Sports hasn’t officially acknowledged any server issues. However, the problem at hand appears to be global, and this has hampered the plans for many.
FC 26 EA Account Servers Unavailable explained
If you’re trying to log into the Web App as of writing this article, chances are that your attempts are turning into failure. Instead, the EA Account Servers Unavailable message is popping up on your screen.
This typically happens when you can’t connect to the official EA servers. Whether you’re trying to use the Web App, the Companion App, or directly from inside FC 26, you’ll need to connect to the official servers for online content. The latest problem is purely due to a fault on the part of EA, or rather, their servers.
Screenshot by DestructoidIt appears that the potential number of people trying to log in at the same time has spiked due to TOTY (happens every year during the weekend). Hence, the servers could have crashed at least for the Web App version. A proper fix has to come from EA Sports, but we have no idea when that will happen for the latest problem.
However, you can complete SBCs and open packs directly from within FC 26. You can also use the Companion App that’s available for free on iOS and Android devices. However, there are chances for those services to be affected as well, all due to the incredible popularity of the TOTY promo.
