Birch only spawns in Hytale's Emerald Wilds (Zone 1). Don't try to find them in the desert, snow, or volcanic areas.

To find gumboab trees, enter the Howling Sands (Zone 2). In the Savannah area, the dirty yellow part of the map, you will see lone, gigantic trees; these are the gumboabs.
