The teleporter is a powerful item in Hytale because it allows you to traverse long distances in the blink of an eye. Hytale features a large map with intricate cave systems, where you can find many treasures. However, reaching these locations usually requires a lot of walking, which can not only be tedious but also dangerous! After all, there are many ways you can die in this game. To avoid this or any type of situation where you must walk long distances, you just need to set up a teleporter.

However, to even build a teleporter, you must first complete a few steps. Here's how to build a teleporter in Hytale.

How to build a teleporter in Hytale

The teleporter recipe only becomes available once you can use an arcanist's workbench. You must build this special workstation by upgrading your workbench to tier 2. Here's what you need to upgrade it:

• 30 copper ingots
• 20 iron ingots
• 20 linen scraps

Once you have all materials, access the workbench crafting menu and, on the right side, select the "upgrade" command. The upgrade only applies to a single workbench. So, if you have another, you will need to gather the materials again and repeat the process.

With an upgraded workbench, you can craft the arcanist's workbench. Here are all the materials you will need:

• 10 thorium ingots
• 30 linen scraps
• 20 essence of the Void

Except for Thorium ingots, you can find the other two materials in the game's initial zone, the Emerald Wilds. Once you have built the arcanist's workbench, interact with it to find the teleporter recipe. You will need the following materials to build a teleporter in Hytale:

• 8 azure logs
• 2 azure Kelps
• 10 stones of any kind

You can craft as many teleporters as you'd like, but, at first, you'll only be able to place two teleporters. To increase the max number of teleporters you can place, you'll need to unlock and turn in memories at the Forgotten Temple:

• 2 teleporters — 0 memories
• 3 teleporters — 25 memories
• 4 teleporters — 50 memories
• 6 teleporters — 100 memories
• 8 teleporters — 200 memories

How to use a teleporter in Hytale

A teleporter is a tool you can build to travel between two points on the map. When you craft a teleporter, you always receive two portals. To use a teleporter, first you must set the portals at the destinations between which you want to travel.

When you place a portal, you can interact with it to open the teleporter menu. Accessing it allows you to set the "Target Warp" and "Warp Name." These two pieces of information are extremely important. In the Target Warp drop-down menu, you can select which portal you want to travel to.

By placing multiple portals (and remembering where they are based on the names you gave them), you can create a complex teleportation network. If you select "No Warp" as the "Target Warp" option, that portal won't teleport you, but you can still travel to it using other portals.

To actually travel using a teleporter, simply approach the portal, and it will automatically transport you to the selected "Target Warp."
