Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser came through this year with a musical performance about Marty Supreme set to the tune of Golden Globes winner Kpop Demon Hunters “Golden.”
Wearing a maroon blazer similar to Taylor Swift’s “The Man” outfit from the Eras Tour, Glaser did a quick change into a navy Marty Supreme jacket, singing into a golden ping pong paddle-shaped microphone. It all started when she mixed the two up and called the Netflix animated film K Pong Demon Hunters.
As part of the number, Glaser joked that the Globes said “do her thing, just don’t sing.” Then she joked about Kevin O’Leary spanking her “reary,” referring to a specific scene in the movie between the Shark Tank entrepreneur and Golden Globe winner Timothée Chalamet.
Former SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher, who stars in Marty Supreme as the mother of Chalamet’s titular character, interrupted Glaser, saying her voice was “annoying.”
“Don’t tell me that you are going to sing in Korean too?” Drescher asked Glaser, who said “No, I was gonna rap in Korean.”

An orange ping-pong ball bounced along lyrics on a screen behind the host as she strutted down the runway, later cut off by Drescher, who then announced Macaulay Culkin to present the Best Screenplay Award.
Drescher also joked that, even though she isn’t President of SAG-AFTRA anymore, she still has “one free kill” with which she threatened to boot her from the union if she didn’t stop singing.
Last year making her Golden Globes debut, Glaser almost did something similar combining Conclave and Wicked in a song of which she only sang one word — “pope-ular” combining the religious theme with “Popular” from the musical-based film.
