Cruz Beckham has announced a one-night-only London show with his band The Breakers as he prepares to officially launch his music career.

The musician, 20, who has been performing a series of unannounced gigs around the UK, took to Instagram on Saturday to share the news with fans.

Sharing a video montage of his performances on stage, Cruz wrote: '15 unannounced shows around the UK. Now it may be time to officially invite you to one night of fairly decent music.

'Cruz Beckham & The Breakers. 1 night in London. Show announcement on Monday.'

He further teased his followers by adding: 'Something will be on Monday.'

The musician kickstarted his career when he was just 11 years old and the Beckham family are said to have spent a small 'fortune' to help him create his sound with top songwriters.

And last year, the Daily Mail reported that the son of David and Victoria Beckham had struck up a friendship with The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard.

At the time, Luke said he was eager to help him 'navigate' his future career in music.

He told The Sun: 'We started writing songs together and we've become mates.

'I'd just love to help him navigate [a career in music]. He's naturally going to come under criticism because of who his parents are - he's aware of that.

Last year, Cruz signed with the top music management company C3, who worked with US indie group The Strokes, as well as Thirty Seconds To Mars, after he parted ways with TaP Music Management.

A source told The Sun: 'His move from TaP was amicable but he's signed with C3 who manage rock bands like Thirty Seconds to Mars and Modest Mouse.

'They are more in line with where his music is evolving.

'Playing live is going to be a big part of the roll-out of his music and Cruz and his new team want to be sure it's perfect before he launches.'

In February it was reported that Cruz had been working with writer Ed Frewett, who has four No1 singles already.

He has also written Shout Out To My Ex and Black Magic for Little Mix, All Time Low and Glad You Came for The Wanted and Best Song Ever, Steal My Girl and History for One Direction.

Meanwhile, he has also been working with producer Fred Ball, who has worked with Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and Joe Rubel, who has engineered records for Ed Sheeran.

The aspiring singer released festive single If Everyday Was Christmas in 2016 and hinted he was working on some new music in April as he shared a picture of himself in the recording studio.

He has learned to play the guitar, piano and drums and even the mandolin, and said his focus is on 'just making the music I love'.

And it seems Cruz has always been interested in music as on his 18th birthday his famous parents shared a series of throwback clips of their son singing and performing as a young child.

Cruz took to the stage to perform in Miami with a rock band in 2023 and it was at that time he reportedly signed to Tap Music, who previously managed Dua Lipa and a range of other big names including Ellie Goulding and Lana del Ray.
