EXCLUSIVE: Brillstein Entertainment Partners has signed stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Paul Chowdhry for global management in all areas.
One of the UK’s top-selling stand-ups, Chowdhry has completed several successful international tours, starred in assorted films, released a special (Live Innit) globally on Prime Video, and sold out Wembley, Birmingham and The O2 Arena. He recently wrapped his 2025 UK tour, Englandia, and just began his 2026 U.S./Canada tour, Artificial Indian, in partnership with Live Nation, with stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Toronto and other major North American markets.
Featuring 41 dates across the UK, Englandia included two major sold-out arena shows at London’s O2 and Utilita Arena Birmingham. Chowdhry’s prior tour, Family-Friendly Comedian, was performed internationally with stops including New York, Chicago, Boston, Toronto, and the Dubai Opera House. It sold out its entire run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, leading to additional shows due to high demand, and attracted 80,000 attendees across the UK. The tour additionally included a performance in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that was booked by the Royal Commission, making Chowdhry the first British comedian to perform a solo show there. In December 2024, Family-Friendly Comedian was broadcast as a special on Sky Comedy and debuted at No. 2 on the charts, second only to Marvel’s Miracles.
In 2021, Chowdhry launched The Paul Chowdhry PudCast, produced by Global Entertainment, which sees him interviewing celebrities about life’s turning points. Guests so far have included Greg Davies, Suzy Eddie Izzard, Viggo Venn, Kerry Katona, Stewart Lee, and James Acaster, among others.
As an actor, Chowdhry has appeared in Greg Davies’ comedy series The Cleaner (BBC One) alongside Helena Bonham Carter and starred with Patrick Dempsey in two seasons of the Sky Atlantic TV series Devils, also broadcast in the U.S. He also featured in Disney’s Cruella with Emma Stone. Chowdhry was a contestant in the third season of Taskmaster (Channel 4/Dave) and is a frequent guest on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky Max). He has additionally hosted Stand Up for the Week (Channel 4) and Live at the Apollo (BBC One/Two), after twice headlining the venue.
Chowdhry’s 2018 show, Live Innit, sold out five nights at the Hammersmith Apollo and made him the first British-Asian stand-up to sell out the 10,000-seat Wembley. The show won Best Live Event 2018 at the ITV Asian Media Awards and earned him the Comedy Award at the Eastern Eye’s Arts, Culture & Theatre Awards in 2019, as well as the Comedian of the Year Award at the Asian Voice Political & Public Life Awards in the same year.
Over the past decade, Chowdhry has shared the stage with comics such as Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, Bill Burr, Trevor Noah, Ken Jeong, and Chris Rock. Word of his Brillstein signing follows the news that Arabella Roberts has joined the company as a manager and producer, as we exclusively reported.
