‘Summer House’ Stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Break Up After 4 Years of Marriage

Andy Cohen is saying Bravo to this major decision.

After The Summer House stars Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke confirmed their breakup, the TV host shared his thoughts on the news while poking fun at one of Kyle's most infamous lines during a fight with his now-estranged wife.

"I am sure that was a difficult decision," Andy shared on the Jan. 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. "But we are proud of you two for choosing what is best for you, because, to paraphrase a certain someone, marriage should be fun."

The 57-year-old concluded his message, "We wish you both the very, very best."

The couple, whose decade-long romance was documented on the reality show, detailed their decision to split following four years of marriage.

"After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple," they shared in a joint statement to their Instagram Stories Jan. 19. "We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing."

Their announcement came one month after the trailer for Summer House season 10—which premieres Feb. 3 on Bravo—highlighted significant cracks in Amanda and Kyle's  marriage. Among the most fundamental problems was Kyle's newfound career as a DJ.

"I wanted him to stop going out and partying," Amanda, 34, said in the sneak peek, "and he found a career where he goes out late and parties."

Meanwhile, the Loverboy founder was upset that his wife wasn't more supportive of his endeavor, reflecting, "I played the biggest gig of my life, but Amanda couldn't care less. I don't know what matters to her anymore."

For Amanda, Kyle's partying has also led to some eyebrow-raising behavior, including, as she told costars Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard in the preview, her husband "fell asleep at some fan's apartment and came home at, like, 6:30 in the morning."

When the couple finally had a one-on-one conversation, Kyle pointed to deeper problems in their relationship.

"You know what I actually think we have an issue with?" the 43-year-old asked Amanda. "Compatibility, chemistry, intimacy—what about that s--t?"
