Why Astrologer Aliza Kelly Says You Should Brace for This “Deeply Unprecedented” February Event

February will be a month of major transformation.

With 2026 serving as a turning point for every zodiac sign, change will be inevitable. But it's not just on an individual level, according to astrologer Aliza Kelly, who exclusively told E! News that a "deeply unprecedented" event is headed our way to shake everything up.

The major moment will arrive on Feb. 20 when Saturn and Neptune meet at zero degrees of Aries for the first time in roughly 9,000 years. That angle is particularly noteworthy as it marks the "beginning of the zodiac."

"Astrologers refer to it as sort of the beginning of all creation. It's the beginning of the world," Aliza explained. "What we know is that anything that happens at zero degrees is an initiation. It is a massive touch point. It's an ignition point."

As a result, some major changes are in store.

With Saturn's focus on "big responsibilities" and Neptune known for representing "our collective belief system," Aliza explained, "We may anticipate to see some huge shifts in the world access, in the belief systems, in the ideas around what exists and what doesn't exist, and changes within those infrastructures and within that architecture."

She added, "Between Neptune moving into Aries, Saturn moving into Aries and then the two of these connecting for the first time since 1989, we should expect some paradigm shifts to occur, especially around the concept of fighting for what we believe in."

While some may feel intimidated by what's to come, Aliza encouraged people to look at it with a positive perspective.

"There's nothing to lose in being excited and in recognizing that we are here in this moment. So, what are we going to do about it?" she said. "This is when we're all here, alive, present, cognizant. I believe that our souls wanted us to be here at this time. So, I'm excited."

But that won't be the only major celestial event coming down the pipeline in February. A solar eclipse—which is typically linked to themes of destiny, karma and timing—is also set to take place in Aquarius beginning on Feb. 17.

"Eclipses speed up time. They perpetuate the inevitable. And fundamentally, the goal of an eclipse is to get us on the path of our destiny," Aliza explained. "If we are not on the path of our destiny, they will drag us by the hair to make sure that we are on said path."

Noting eclipses can be "unpredictable, intense, and erratic," Aliza emphasized, "We always should anticipate a big change to take place, personally and collectively during eclipses."

However, this solar eclipse will be even more noteworthy as it's the first time it'll happen in the Leo and Aquarius access since 2016. This means you'll be in your feels, reflecting on the last 10 years—whether you're ready or not.

"This 2016 to 2026 narrative is going to be a really meaningful one. Thinking about what started in your life... and what was going on from 2016 to 2019," Aliza shared. "Because from now, 2026, until 2028 we're going to have the 180 experience of that."

"The eclipses are going to switch. In 2016 and through 2019, the north node of destiny was in the sign of Leo. Now it's going to be in the sign of Aquarius," she continued. "We're shifting from an emphasis on kings to an emphasis on the people. Leo is associated with the kings, the queens, the rulers, charismatic leaders, figureheads. Aquarius is the collective humanity, the people, the masses. So we're shifting what our focus is for individuals and also for the greater good."

That also means the period will be marked by "newness and possibility, because we're starting a new storyline"—so get ready for whatever's not serving you to make its final departure.

"If things start leaving your life and you're like, 'Wait, I wasn't ready for this relationship to be over or this job to end,' there has to be a surrender and trusting that was not meant to last," she said, "because if it's going away during eclipse season, it was not something permanent. It was not something you could rely on."
