How to complete the 'Armored Transports' quest
Image: Embark StudiosThe patrol car key in Arc Raiders is an item required for a quest, but you may find yourself with one — or multiple — in your stash long before you need to use it. In fact, the "Armored Transports" quest is one of the last you'll receive, and if your experience was anything like mine, you'll be sitting on a patrol car key long before that comes around.
The only clue you're given is in the description of the item, which states the patrol car key is "used to open the rear door of a patrol car." You're not given any other information on its whereabouts, so you'll need to do some searching. Whether you have the key or you're looking for an "Armored Transports" quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders, here's what you need to know.

You'll likely spy armored patrol cars with their rear doors open already as you approach, but you need to find one with a locked door.
Use the patrol car key to open the door once you find it and voilà, you're in. Loot the weapon crate inside and the "Armored Transports" quest will be complete. You don't need to have the quest active to loot the goodies inside though, so whenever you have a patrol car key in your stash, put it in your safe pocket and head for this location to find some decent loot. Just watch out for the heavy Arc enemies nearby, as I almost got lit up by a Bastion on my first visit.

Southwest of Outer Gates is the Checkpoint location, with a number of security booths in a line. You'll want to search these booths to find the key, named in the objective as the armored patrol key card, despite it just being a standard patrol car key.
If you can't find one there, you can also check the booth just inside the doors to the Outer Gates, as you may find a replacement there. Issues have been reported of players dying with the key in their inventory then not being able to find a replacement for the quest, so we'd recommend putting it in your safe pocket as soon as you pick it up.
