Sterling K. Brown detailed in an exclusive interview on Live from E!: Golden Globes 2026 how his wife Ryan Michelle Bathe felt about him exposing his bare butt on Paradise.
Golden Globes: What Sterling K. Brown’s Wife Ryan Michelle Bathe Thinks of NSFW Paradise Scenes
Ryan Michelle Bathe is grateful that the world is seeing more of her husband Sterling K. Brown.
Indeed, the Paradise actor revealed at the 2026 Golden Globes—hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jan. 11—what the Boston Legal actress really thought about him showing his bare butt in the Hulu show.
“You say, ‘It ain't no fun if the homies can't have none,’” Sterling told Justin Sylvester in a joint interview with Ryan on Live from E!: Golden Globes 2026. “We want to share with the world. Just on TV, though.”
The This Is Us alum—nominated at the awards show for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama alongside Adam Scott for Severance, Diego Luna for Andor, Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, Mark Ruffalo for Task and Noah Wyle for The Pitt—added, “I figure it's the Golden Globes. So, I wanted to have two Golden Globes on Hulu from the back. Rear globes—that’s what we call them.”
As for if Ryan will follow in her husband’s footsteps when she costars alongside him in season two of Paradise?
“My cheeks were thoroughly closed the entire time I was on Paradise season two,” she shared. “I just wanna say.”
But it wasn’t just Sterling’s butt that had eyes turning this past year. When the 49-year-old presented at the 2025 Emmy Awards in September, he caused concern when he wheeled onto stage in a scooter with his left leg wrapped up.
However, he explained that his injured ankle is on the up-and-up.

“It's getting better,” Sterling explained. “It's getting better every day. I can walk, I can swim, I can ride a bike, but I can't run yet.”
