1000-Lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton Responds to Concern Over Facial Bruising
Amy Slaton can’t take another ounce of Tammy Slaton’s criticism.
Which is why, as the TLC stars confirmed during the season eight premiere of 1000-Lb. Sisters, they're still not on good terms.
“F--k that b---h,” Amy said in a confessional during the Jan. 6 episode. “The latest with Tammy is f--k her. I’m not living my life in a shell to please her anymore.”
Indeed, Amy—who is also feuding with her 45-year-old sister Amanda Halterman—confirmed, “I haven’t seen Tammy in two months.”
In a separate confessional, Tammy shared that their feud dates back to her skin-removal surgery.
“Last time I saw Amy, we got in this big argument,” the 39-year-old explained. “Bottom line is she up and left me in Pittsburgh. I tried to tell her how I felt, how she abandoned me, and she just flipped it and said I was bullying her and all this stuff.”
For Amy’s part, she was hurt that Tammy wouldn’t listen to her perspective, noting she had left because Amanda was “bullying” her.
“I wanted to tell her my side of things and have her be like, ‘Oh, I get why you left, Amanda can be a big bully,’” the 38-year-old explained. “But then she started being a b---h.”
As she put it, “I know me leaving early upset Tammy but this is bigger than Pittsburgh—this is me telling you it’s not okay for you to treat me like this no more.”
Meanwhile, Tammy admitted, “I don’t know why she thinks all of us are bullying her.”
“Do we tease each other? Yes,” she clarified in her own confessional. “Do we give her advice? Yes. Does she listen? Not really.”
And when Amy brought up a specific example of Tammy making fun of her profile picture on Instagram, Tammy assured on her end that she “wasn’t trying to be mean or vicious or anything.”
TLC
Although Tammy didn’t appear to harbour any ill-will toward her sister, she noted she was keeping her distance for now.
“If Amy need space because she feels like the world hates her and her family included,” Tammy considered, “then that’s what I’m doing.”
But Amy admitted that she “doesn’t know” what it would take to repair her relationship with her sister.
“I think I’m better off not talking to her,” Amy said. “I can do bad all on my own.”
