Inside the 2026 Golden Globes Gift Bags Worth Nearly $1 Million
Kristen Bell is proud of her Armchair Expert.
Ahead of Amy Poehler taking home the inaugural Best Podcast win at the Golden Globes 2026, the Nobody Wants This actress emphasized her joy in husband Dax Shepard for even receiving a nomination.
"I'm a hype man," Kristen told E! News' Justin Sylvester on the red carpet outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jan. 11. "My husband and my best friend were nominated for the first ever podcast category." (For a look at every star on the Golden Globes red carpet, see here.)
As Kristen put it, "I'm going to lose my mind when their category is announced, even if they don't win because I'm so proud of them."
And while Kristen herself didn't take home the trophy for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy during the 83rd annual Golden Globes, she assured when it came to winners, "I'm not even thinking about me."
The 45-year-old, who was nominated alongside Selena Gomez for Only Murders in the Building, Ayo Edebiri for The Bear, Natasha Lyonne for Poker Face, Jenna Ortega for Wednesday and Jean Smart for Hacks, ultimately lost to the latter nominee, who joked in her acceptance speech after winning for the third time, "What can I say? I'm a greedy b---h."
But like Kristen said, it's an honor to simply be nominated. Ahead of the Golden Globes, the nominees had shared their appreciation for being recognized by fans and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
“I am beyond thrilled for the show and Adam [Brody] to get Global Globe nominations alongside myself,” Kristen told E! News in a statement last month. “This show and everyone involved is family to me, so I want to thank you for the recognition.”
Meanwhile, Selena was simply grateful for having worked with her Only Murders costars Martin Short and Steve Martin—both Best Actor nominees at the event, in addition to all three being nominated as executive producers for Best Musical or Comedy Series—over the course of five seasons.

“I’m so happy that it’s been five years working with Steve and Marty,” the Rare Beauty founder told E! in September. “It’s been a blast and every year I feel that we get closer and then it’s just stronger.”
She added, “I feel really fortunate and blessed.”
