From big-budget thrillers to underrated gems, these 3 Prime Video picks offer compelling stories and plenty of episodes to binge-watch this weekend, January 9–11, 2026.
With so many series to choose from on Prime Video, settling on just one worth your time can be difficult. Screen Rant's TV experts sort through all the noise to deliver you three must-watch, brand-new, or top-trending series that are worth a binge-watching investment.
Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan
One of the earliest flagship series on Prime Video is trending again this weekend after a viral scene recently resurfaced online. Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, an epic 4-season action thriller that paved the way for modern hits like Reacher and The Terminal List, remains one of the best series to binge right now on Prime Video.
Starring John Krasinski, immortalized by The Office fame, Amazon's Jack Ryan is based on the celebrated book series by Tom Clancy. Krasinski played the titular CIA data analyst protagonist, who has previously been portrayed in film and TV by Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine, and Ben Affleck.
If you're a newer Prime Video subscriber and haven't seen Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (currently #7 trending in the U.S.), it's certainly a timely moment to dive into this 80% Rotten Tomatoes series.
Beast Games
The long-awaited return of Beast Games is finally here, with three brand new season 2 episodes streaming now on Prime Video. YouTube phenom turned reality show host, Mr. Beast, also has another new top-trending show on Prime Video right now, MrBeast: Insane Competitions!, which is the #4 most-watched show on Prime Video right now, trailing Beast Games at #2.
Needless to say, it's a fantastic time to be a Mr. Beast fan with not one, but two new Prime Video shows trending right now. In Beast Games season 2, the series pits 100 "smart" contestants versus 100 "strong" ones in the ultimate test of brains against brawn. Beast Games season 2 also features a first-ever collaboration with Survivor and an appearance from legendary host Jeff Probst.
The Night Manager
By far the best show to binge-watch this weekend, if you haven't already, is The Night Manager, which finally returns to Prime Video after 10 years with a strong 95% Rotten Tomatoes score. If you're a massive fan of British spy movies like any James Bond blockbuster, there's no question that you should be watching The Night Manager's season 2 premiere this Sunday, January 11.
Starring the impeccable MCU alum Tom Hiddleston, The Night Manager season 1 consists of 6 episodes, so there's still plenty of time to binge before the season 2 premiere drops on Sunday. Oscar winner Olivia Colman will also return as MI6 agent Angela Burr, who recruited Hiddleston's hotel manager character Jonathan Pine into the shadowy world of espionage in season 1.
Don't miss The Night Manager this weekend in what is sure to be Prime Video's biggest global hit of 2026 so far.
