Nearly 10 years after it first premiered, Tom Hiddleston’s twisty crime thriller is set to return with a new season soon, and Collider is here to help bridge the massive gap between seasons. We’re happy to exclusively preview a new image from The Night Manager Season 2, which will premiere on Prime Video on January 11. The first three episodes of The Night Manager Season 2 will air on its premiere date, and the final three episodes will be released weekly on January 18, January 25, and February 1. The series has even been renewed for a third season, which will likely air sometime in late 2026 or early 2027.

The Night Manager Season 2 will follow Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston), now living a comfortably uneventful life as Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer running boring surveillance. However, when Pine runs into Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Cava), a Colombian businessman, he’s prompted back into action and led into a violent encounter. He even meets a businesswoman on his new journey, Roxana (Camila Morrone), who reluctantly helps him infiltrate Teddy’s drug operation. Jonathan must decide how far he’s willing to go and who he wants to protect before it’s too late.

Tom Hiddleston is best known for playing Loki in the MCU, a role he first played in 2011’s Thor movie starring Chris Hemsworth. He then went on to feature alongside Hemsworth in several Thor movies and even an Avengers film before leading his own Disney+ series a few years ago, which received two full seasons. Hiddleston will once again return to the role next year in Avengers: Doomsday, which is expected to be one of the biggest movies of the year.

Is Tom Hiddleston’s Loki in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’?

It’s unclear at this time if Hiddleston will return as Loki after Doomsday in the 2027 film, Secret Wars, and this will be tough to predict until after Doomsday is out in theaters. Many fans are predicting that Hiddleston is one of the prime candidates to lose his life, despite ascending to new power at the end of Loki Season 2. There would be no better way to establish Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) as a threat than killing Loki, just as Thanos (Josh Brolin) did at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War.
