Tinder is paying off! AFL hunk Bailey Smith spotted on a romantic beach date with busty blonde Tammy Hembrow lookalike

It seems that Bailey Smith's quest for love on 'the apps' is paying dividends.

The AFL star, 25, set hearts aflutter back in July when he announced he had joined Tinder, before partnering with 'former flame' Tammy Hembrow, 31, in December to promote the popular dating app.

The hunky bachelor was spotted on what appeared to be a beach date in Manly, Sydney this week with a mystery blonde.

Bailey cut a casual figure for his morning rendezvous, stepping out in a crisp white T-shirt and a pair of knee-length navy blue shorts.

He also wore white socks pulled up over his shins beneath a pair of sneakers. 

Bailey beamed as he strolled along the promenade with his 'date' and the pair even shared a refreshing drink.

Bailey's mystery companion, meanwhile, bore quite a striking resemblance to Tammy.

She wore a form-fitting black sports bra that showed off her trim and taut midriff.

The blonde kept her activewear theme going with a pair of loose-fitting track pants and black sneakers.

She wore her blonde locks back in a ponytail and accessorised with a navy blue jumper, which she carried.

While there was no indication of a romance between the pair, both Bailey and his mystery woman looked chuffed to be in each other's company.

Last year, Bailey and Tammy made headlines after a highly publicised dating stint.

As romance rumours continued to swirl, the pair confirmed they planned to step into the new year as firm friends. 

Bailey took to Instagram to announce that he and Tammy had decided to make things official as friends, teaming up for a collaboration with Tinder.

'I'm actually hard launching someone today,' Smith told his followers in a cheeky video.

'Hey guys. So Tammy and I have decided to make it official. We're gonna be each other's Tinder coaches this summer.'

The clip quickly raised eyebrows after months of speculation surrounding their on-again, off-again dating era. 

Bailey continued: 'Yep. Now that we're just mates who better help you with your dating game than a friend.'

The couple also copped some not-so-subtle criticism over the first fruits of their collaboration with Tinder.

Tammy took to Instagram just after Christmas to share a cringeworthy video that shows Bailey in dating coach mode, offering Tammy some tips about opening lines when messaging people on dating apps. 

The clip elicited a flurry of comments from fans, with many saying the result was 'awkward'. 

Influencer Simone Anderson threw some not-so-subtle shade at the clip, commenting, 'Fab ad,' with a raft of crying laughing face emojis.

Another follower replied to Simone's cheeky comment with: 'Stop lying.'

One fan jumped in with a simple, 'This looks so awkward,' while another echoed the sentiment with: 'This has to be a joke.'

Another follower went one further, claiming the ad was the worst thing they had ever witnessed.

'This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life,' they wrote, while another replied: 'And she’s still being paid a lot of money for it.'
