Rumor has it Sebastian Stan is set for a role in Matt Reeves' The Batman Part II, and there's only one character fans want him to play: Two-Face. The DC fandom is already fantasy casting Stan as the legendary villain, one that is at the top of the list for must-see villains in the sequel to the 2022 film.
Two-Face is one of Batman's greatest enemies, and one of his greatest failures. The Batman II has the opportunity to put a definitive cinematic stamp on their dynamic, surpassing even Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight.

Sebastian Stan's Time In The MCU Might Be Over, But He's Perfect For This DC Villain
Stan Could Be The Greatest Cinematic Two-Face Yet
Sebastian Stan has spent the last fifteen years playing Winter Soldier Bucky Barners in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which shows just how well he can pull off the "friend turned foe" aspect of Two-Face. Stan also has the right look for Harvey Dent, and some nasty makeup can turn him into a frightening Two-Face.
The role could also give Stan the chance to go big and broad, something he couldn't as Bucky. Two-Face, with his need to have every choice decided by the flip of a coin, and his tailored suits to show off the two sides of his personality, is more theatrical than the Winter Soldier, meaning Stan can have fun with the character.
Outside of his MCU work, Stan has shown the ability to immerse himself in roles requiring a fair amount of makeup. The actor received critical acclaim and an Oscar nomination for his role in The Apprentice. Two-Face is a perfect choice to go up against Batman in the sequel, and Sebastian Stan is a natural fit for the role.
Two-Face Is A Perfect Counter To Robert Pattinson's Batman; Sebastian Stan Would Be Great As The Villain
The Batman II Needs Two-Face
In the comics, Two-Face represents Batman's failure to save the city. To the Caped Crusader, his one-time friend becoming one of his greatest foes is a weight he will carry forever. While Batman has personal connections to many of his rogues, Two-Face is the only one he feels deep sympathy and pity for.
Matt Reeves say that he has a Batman trilogy in mind, and now that his universe is fully realized, he can start to explore larger story elements in the sequel. It's possible that if Stan is playing Harvey Dent, he may not become Two-Face in The Batman Part II. Instead, Reeves may want to really build their friendship before shattering Dent's world.
While Two-Face has appeared in movies before, the portrayal has either been overly comical (Batman Forever) or he was used as a secondary pawn in the story (The Dark Knight). Reeves and Sebastian Stan have the chance to give audiences an iconic version of Two-Face who can stand on his own in the The Batman II.
