The world's richest YouTuber opening new Sydney eatery - and you won't believe what a single burger costs

MrBeast is opening a new Sydney restaurant. 

The American YouTuber, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, will soon see one of his MrBeast Burger franchise locations begin operations at the Chatswood Westfield mall on the ritzy North Shore.

And local shoppers have spotted a menu visible at the new store, which is in the process of being renovated. 

Shared to Reddit this week, the list of available food items includes a Beast Style beef burger for a pricey $20.90. 

A selection of chicken burgers, known as sandwiches at the eatery, cost between $19.90 and $20.90 for a single item. 

Combos are even more expensive, with fries and a drink included along with a burger for $27.90. 

'Going to be closing down in six months,' commented one Reddit user, while another said: 'I'll be sure not to go.'

Someone else commented: 'I wouldn't be eating at an influencer's shop regardless, so prices kinda… don't matter?' 

Worth billions and with 460million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast is the world's richest and biggest YouTuber. 

Last year, the social media star announced that he will be opening his own theme park, called Beast Land, in Saudi Arabia.

Known for controversial stunts involving eye-popping prizes, Jimmy previously said Beast Land will not be a 'typical theme park'.

He shared a post on X on November 6, which reads: 'Next week, Beast Land, our brand new theme park, opens!

'We built custom games modelled after our videos that don't exist ANYWHERE else and will have the world's largest prize wall.'

At one of the games called 'Tower Siege', visitors must load balls into catapults, which then have to land in giant 18 metre tubes for points.

In an attraction called 'Drop Zone', six people stand on trap doors – a button then lights up in front of all the players, but the person who presses it last gets dropped. The last player remaining gets the most points. 

The 27-year-old wrote: 'I didn't want this to be like a typical theme park.

'Thought of things from first principles and created games I would love to play. Tons of original games created, plus, of course, we have rollercoasters and rides.'

When asked why he chose Saudi Arabia, the YouTuber responded that it is because the majority of his audience is outside of America and that he has a big Middle Eastern fan base.

He added: 'Wanted to give them a chance to participate.'

MrBeast travelled Down Under in 2024 to promote the launch of his Feastables chocolate bar, which is available to purchase nationwide. 

American YouTuber MrBeast rose to fame as an online creator after posting his first video at age 13 in 2012.

Since then, he has amassed 460 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.

As of January 2026, his wealth is estimated to be US$2.6 billion, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
