‘The Walking Dead’ Alum Seth Gilliam Signs With TalentWorks

Seth Gilliam, known best for his starring roles on The Walking Dead and The Wire, has signed with TalentWorks for representation.

Gilliam starred as Father Gabriel Stokes on the final six seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead from 2014-2022 and as Sergeant Ellis Carver on all five seasons of HBO’s critically acclaimed The Wire. He’s also known for his work on Teen Wolf in the role of Dr. Alan Deaton.

His numerous other television credits include guest or recurring roles on The Blacklist, Bull, City on a Hill, Elementary, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, Homeland and many more.

On the film side, he most recently starred alongside Briana Middleton, Stella Everett, Cody Kostro, Eisa Davis, Guinevere Turner and Ella Jay Basco in the indie thriller Ride or Die, which world premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. He’ll next be seen starring alongside Sonja O’Hara in the forthcoming paranormal crime thriller Stakeout, directed and written by Micah Khan (The Zombie Wedding), based on the short film.
