Best Golden Globes Fashion Moments Ever: Nicole Kidman, Zendaya & More
These Golden Globes looks are best in show.
If past years are any indication, the 2026 Golden Globes—which airs live on Jan. 11 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles—is sure to feature show-stopping red carpet looks. Until then, why not take a walk down memory lane at the ceremony’s most wow-worthy fashion moments over the years?
Take, for instance, Ariana Grande’s vintage Givenchy gown from the 2025 event. The “we can’t be friends” singer—who is nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor – Motion Picture for her performance as Glinda in Wicked: For Good—made a powerful reference to the iconic yellow brick road as she walked the red carpet adorned in a pale lemon color.
And who could forget Zendaya’s deep orange Louis Vuitton dress? The custom look may have featured a dramatic matching train, but all eyes were on her massive engagement ring from Tom Holland, which the Challengers actress quietly debuted on that finger before the awards show.
Indeed, the Globes have seen a long line of jaw-dropping looks. Turning back the clock to 1990, Julia Roberts made headlines when she arrived on the red carpet wearing a now-iconic oversized Giorgio Armani suit.
“This was one of my all-time favorite outfits for the Golden Globes,” the Pretty Woman actress told Vogue in January 2024. “I did my hair, my girlfriend did my makeup and I got this suit from Armani in Beverly Hills. I went into the men’s department, and they had an in-store tailor, and they tailored it to fit me.”
More than 35 years later, fashion lovers are still not over her gender-defying look.

“I could not have known that it was going to become this statement outfit,” she continued. “I just thought I looked fabulous, and I still have that suit.”
And then some stars take the gilded theme to heart, looking like Golden Globes awards themselves. Case in point: Emma Stone, who rocked a sheer, bedazzled low-neck gown by Louis Vuitton to the 2024 event. And of course there was Beyoncé’s 2007 figure-hugging number by Elie Saab.
But these are just a few of the best looks from Golden Globes past. For a look at more of the best Globes fashion moments, keep reading…
