Teddi Mellencamp is taking care of her mental health as much as her physical health amid her stage four cancer battle.
The 44-year-old mom of three, who was spotted on a family outing this month, gave fans an update on Tuesday's episode of her Two T's in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge.
'I started doing therapy, and it's taken its toll on me,' she said. 'I've learned that there are certain things... like it's hard for me to touch and move. I can see that I'm slower than I was before, and that's really frustrating to me. I want to be back to the way I was.'
In February 2025 the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was diagnosed with brain cancer and had to undergo emergency surgery to remove large tumors, which were a result of her 2022 melanoma metastasizing.
It came just three months after she'd announced her split from husband Edwin Arroyave, with whom she shares daughters Slate, 13, Dove, six in February, and son Cruz, 11.
Mellencamp said on Tuesday, per UsWeekly: 'I think [medications and immunotherapy] take a toll on my body, and I think that I also didn't properly process all of the things that happened when I had surgery.'

The 44-year-old mom of three gave fans an update on Tuesday's episode of her Two T's in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, revealing she's started therapy
She reflected, 'From my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery, to not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now.'
Last October Mellencamp revealed her cancer had become undetectable after undergoing months-long treatment.
However, her dad, singer John Mellencamp, told Today show hosts Craig Melvin, Dyler Dreyer, and Al Roker earlier this month that his daughter's health remains precarious.
'Now that the storm has calmed a little, now I'm processing,' the media personality explained on her podcast. 'Now I'm starting to develop fear where I didn't have fear before.'
She admitted to co-host Judge that her biggest fear is 'that the cancer is going to come back.'
'I haven't even taken any Ubers by myself,' she noted, adding, 'I don't feel super self-sufficient.'
The episode also saw Mellencamp address her dad's comments on the Today show, as well as Joe Rogan's podcast, on which he claimed his daughter is 'really sick' and 'suffering.'
She clarified, 'There's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered stage four and I'm still on immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's changed other than I still don't feel great.
'I [hoped] that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don't.'

Mellencamp announced her split from husband Edwin Arroyave, with whom she shares daughters Slate; 13, Dove, six in February; and son Cruz, 11, in November 2024. She is also stepmom to Arroyave's daughter Isabella, 17, from a previous relationship

In an October Instagram post she thanked her dad for showing up for her throughout her medical crisis.
'It's been 10 months since my brain surgery and I am so grateful to @johnmellencamp or continuously being there for me and my family the entire time,' Mellencamp wrote in the caption.
'Love you so much, Cougs. Thank you for everything ❤️,' she added.
'I've been doing a lot of therapy, a lot of rest, a lot of hanging with the family,' she shared in another recent episode of her podcast.
The blonde beauty added, 'A lot of trying to get myself together because, apparently, I'm struggling with massive PTSD from everything that happened. I didn't really realize it, so I'm starting to feel a little better. The cloud is lifting.'
