Disney's live-action remake of Tangled has found its Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Development of the film was temporarily put on pause after the Snow White live-action remake underperformed at the box office. For years, though, there has been a great deal of fancasting surrounding the live-action Tangled.

Now, per The Hollywood Reporter, Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel and Milo Manheim will play Flynn Rider. Finalists screen tested in December prior to the holidays, with Croft and Manheim ultimately being chosen for the roles voiced by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi in the animated film.

Croft is known for playing Rachel Roth/Raven in DC's live-action television series Titans, which ran for four seasons from 2018-2023. Manheim has already starred in Disney projects by playing Zed in Disney Channel's Zombies franchise.

While Croft and Manheim are recognizable names to fans of Titans and the Zombies franchise, they are not as well-known as some of the high-profile actors that Disney has cast to lead some of their other live-action remakes. This includes casting Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot in Snow White and Emma Stone and Emma Thompson in Cruella.
