Thomas Kent "T.K." Carter, best known for his role in 1982's The Thing, has died at age 69, it has been reported today.
TMZ reported that the actor was found deceased on Friday at his home in California after calling 9-1-1; a cause of death has not been announced. However, no foul play is suspected. Carter was widely known for his role as Nauls in the horror/sci-fi The Thing, and had a career spanning decades, dating back to around the 1970s.
While receiving his big break after appearing in the 1980s classic, the actor is also known for his roles in Runaway Train, Space Jam, Seems Like Old Times, Domino, and The Sinbad Show. His last roles were for three episodes of The Company You Keep and the 2023 show Dave, in which he appeared in five episodes.
