The Boys kicks off its fifth and final season on Prime Video on April 8, pitting anti-hero Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the resistance movement led by Annie January/Starlight (Erin Moriarty) against the near unstoppable might of Homelander (Antony Starr). While you’re waiting to find out if the twisted Supe will get what’s coming to him on the show, you can see him get pummeled by Superman in DC K.O., DC Comics’ spin on a Mortal Kombat-style tournament. (So much so that MK's Sub-Zero is included.)

The K.O. event kicked off in early October, with DC’s biggest heroes duking it out to earn the title King Omega in order to save the universe from Darkseid. DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1, a one-shot comic from Mortal Kombat Legends writer Jeremy Adams releasing ahead of the K.O. finale, brings Homelander into the fight along with a wide variety of characters from outside of DC Comics.

“The biggest A-hole in pop culture right now fighting the big blue boy scout? Come on!” Adams said in a statement. “My only regret is that I didn’t have more pages to show these guys punch and kick … and for Superman to tell Homelander to shut his potty mouth before launching him into the sun!”

The comic also features Wonder Woman crossing swords with Red Sonja, Batwoman facing Vampirella, Sub-Zero facing both Plastic Man and Black Lightning, and Lex Luthor battling the serial killer bear Samantha Strong from Patrick Horvath’s Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. All of these cameos were announced in October, but DC has also added Star Sapphire visiting Greendale and meeting Sabrina the Teenage Witch and her black cat, Salem.

Here’s a peek at the action and the variant covers from artists including Jeff Spokes, Patrick Horvath, and Gleb Melnikov releasing Feb. 4.
