After being praised by Stephen King, Together is now No. 1 on streaming in the United States. The supernatural body horror movie premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in January and, after its positive word-of-mouth sparked a massive bidding war among studios, it was subsequently released in theaters by Neon the following July.

Now, Together ranks first on Hulu's Top 10 overall movies and TV shows in the United States for today, January 7, per FlixPatrol. It finished above 20/20, The Kardashians, Hell's Kitchen, Superbad, Neighborhood Watch, Ash, Anyone But You, London Calling, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.

On the Top 10 movies, Together also ranks above The Equalizer 2, The Equalizer, Big Daddy, and The Life of Chuck.

Written and directed by Michael Shanks in his feature-length debut, Together follows a couple who move to the countryside and encounter a mysterious supernatural force that threatens to corrupt their lives, love, and flesh.

The cast includes married couple Dave Franco and Alison Brie in the lead roles, alongside Damon Herriman, Mia Morrissey, Jack Kenny, Aljin Abella, Sarah Lang, Tom Considine, and Melanie Beddie.

Together received rave reviews, resulting in a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score, with critics calling it a body horror film that is as emotionally gripping as it is vividly grotesque, bolstered by the metatextual casting of Alison Brie and Dave Franco at their peak.

Coupled with a 76% audience score, viewers enjoyed how Together blends the strange and the unsettling and, powered by the leads' undeniable chemistry, forges a distinctive alchemy that feels entirely its own.

Dave Franco and Alison Brie uncomfortably close together in Together

Stephen King was one of the many who praised Together, writing on Threads, "Dave Franco and Alison Brie are great--and brave--in TOGETHER. Horror movies work when you care about the people. This one works."

With a reported budget of approximately $17 million, with Neon acquiring it for around that price after its Sundance debut, Together became a solid hit at the box office for its budget, earning $34.5 million worldwide.

Together is widely considered one of the best horror movies of last year, appearing on ScreenRant's own Top 10 list of the best horror movies of 2025. Alex Papaioannou of InSession Film also called it "the best horror movie of the year," a quote that appears on the movie's poster.

Together topping Hulu's charts only reinforces it as one of the best horror movies released last year, and now it's widely available for everyone to watch.
