Most popular red carpet makeup trend E! illustration/r.e.m. beauty

This year's award season is so here, and the star-studded red carpet has been filled with plenty of makeup trends we're simply too obsessed with. Celebs (and their makeup artists) are looking forward to the spring season when it comes to beauty trends. We're talking glowy bronzer, matching rosy cheeks and lips, all with a glamorous side of clean cat-eye liner or smudged waterline.

We saw it all, from completely makeup-free faces to bold rocker glam. The trend from the majority of the stars, though, was somewhere in between. Most celebs were spotted with a clean and balanced base—glowy on high points with a subtly radiant bronzer and rosy pink cheeks. The makeup wasn't heavy or overdone, letting the celebs' natural beauty peek through.

That cool-toned, rosy shade was seen throughout the night on the carpet. We saw matte and glossy lips pouting with rosy nude shades that matched their glowy pink blush. Alongside that radiant blush, artists paired it with a warm bronzer to create a sun-kissed glow.

While we saw some sheer pink and lilac shadows on celebs' eyes on the red carpet, the big trend was a subtle cat-eye liner. In the style of the classic Hollywood glam, the stars made their eyes pop with black eyeliner.
