Golden Globes: What Sterling K. Brown’s Wife Ryan Michelle Bathe Thinks of NSFW Paradise Scenes
Snoop Dogg’s latest appearance ain’t nothing but a Globes thing.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper earned a standing ovation at the 2026 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jan. 11 as he walked onstage at the Beverly Hilton to present the inaugural award for Best Podcast, which he told the crowd was “a very important category for me.” (See all of the night’s big winners by clicking here.)
“Before podcasts, I was what you all listened to driving around in your cars,” he joked during the ceremony hosted by Nikki Glaser. “To you podcasters, y’all better hope I don’t get in that game.”
And after presenting the award to Amy Poehler for her Good Hang podcast, the Parks and Recreation alum shared that she was thrilled to share the stage with the hip-hop icon.
“This is exactly how I pictured it: Snoop giving me the award,” she said as she collected her statuette. “I don't know about award shows, but when they get it right, it makes sense.”
Snoop’s appearance wasn’t the show’s only memorable moment. During Nikki’s opening monologue, the comedian took several playful jabs at the evening’s attendees including Leonardo DiCaprio, joking about his history of dating much younger women.

“What a career you've had,” she told the 51-year-old. “I mean, countless iconic performances, you've worked with every great director. You've won three Golden Globes, an Oscar.”
“And the most impressive thing,” she continued, “is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it's just insane.”
Thankfully, the One Battle After Another star got a good laugh from the bit, as did Timothée Chalamet when she turned her attention his way.
“What a dedicated performance you gave,” she told the Marty Supreme actor—who was sat next to girlfriend Kylie Jenner—calling him “the first actor in history to put on muscle for a movie about ping pong. He gained over 60 ounces, it’s insane.”
