Golden Globes 2026 Biggest Winners: Timothée Chalamet, One Battle After Another & More
Greetings, loved ones. Let’s take a journey into what Snoop Dogg really said at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Before announcing Amy Poehler’s Good Hang as the inaugural winner of the Best Podcast category at the Jan. 11 ceremony, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shared a few words that were censored by the CBS broadcast.
“Stop the music!” Snoop said on stage at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. “I need y’all to loosen up a little bit. This is the double-G’s, the double-G’s, it’s the Golden Globes, and you’re with the D-O-double-G.”
The 54-year-old emphasized to the audience, “Make sure you enjoy yourself, don’t be no stiff biff! Move around a little bit!”
And while his initial remarks were included in the televised ceremony—hosted by Nikki Glaser for the second year in a row—Snoop’s NSFW remarks were bleeped out on CBS and Paramount+’s live stream.
“I’m high as a motherf----er right now,” he quipped, in comments confirmed by Entertainment Weekly. “Y’all had me here too damn long!”
Of course, Snoop was able to get his comments about the Best Podcast category—which also included Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes’ Smartless, Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy, NPR’s Up First and Mel Robbins’ self-titled show as nominees—onto the live show. (See all the winners here.)
“Best Podcast is a very important category for me, because, before podcasts, I was what y’all would listen to driving around in your cars,” Snoop joked. “To you podcasters, you better hope I don’t get in that game.”

The “California Gurls” rapper went on to joke about the fierce competition, adding, “shout-out to all of the podcasters. You all are winners, but the real winner is…”
And when the Parks and Recreation alum—who shares sons Archie, 17, and Abel, 15, with ex and fellow nominee Will—was announced as the winner, she continued Snoop’s tongue and cheek demeanor in her own acceptance speech.
“I don’t know about award shows, but when they get it right, it makes sense,” Amy joked. “I have great respect for all the people I am nominated with, I am big fans of all of you, except for NPR, just a bunch of celebs phoning it in.”
