Govee announced the Ceiling Light Ultra, a unique smart ceiling matrix light comprising 616 pixels to create a range of lighting effects. The matrix acts like an LED canvas that you can customize to your liking, or use the AI Lighting Bot 2.0 in the Govee app to make new dynamic modes.

Another new ceiling smart light, the Govee Sky Ceiling Light, is designed to mimic daylight, much like having a skylight -- with the added benefit of being usable at night. The Sky Ceiling Light delivers white light to recreate clear daylight skies or soft, warm colors, making it a potentially beneficial addition for windowless rooms.
The Govee Floor Lamp 3 is also set to arrive in stores this year. This third-generation floor lamp offers ultra-precise color and a wide range of white light temperatures, spanning from 1,000K to 10,000K.
New Govee software features
Govee is not only adding new products to its lineup, but it's also offering up new features alongside them. A recent partnership with Samsung SmartThings is meant to expand Govee's smart home integrations with SmartThings-compatible devices. Aside from making control easier for Govee and SmartThings users, this integration is designed to provide more seamless automation capabilities for everyday use.

A new adaptive lighting feature called DaySync synchronizes indoor lighting with circadian rhythms throughout the day in a simplified process that runs automatically. While there are multiple smart lighting presets that attempt to do this with other brands, Govee hopes its DaySync feature will create a more natural progression of light temperature and brightness than others. This feature is meant to roll out beginning in April 2026.
DaySync works in conjunction with LuminBlend+, a new RGB-to-white optimization, to deliver more accurate and stable colors. Utilizing proprietary Gamma calibration, LuminBlend+ ensures color stability across various brightness levels and precise color transitions.
The company announced the second-generation AI Lighting Bot 2.0, which is more responsive, intuitive, and capable of creating more vivid effects than its predecessor. This is an AI bot in the Govee app that helps you achieve the exact look and effect you want out of your smart light.
