See Teyana Taylor Crash Costar Chase Infiniti's Critics Choice Awards Interview

Teyana Taylor is stealing one hug after another on the red carpet.

The One Battle After Another actress surprised her costar Chase Infiniti with a laugh-filled embrace on the red carpet of the 2026 Critics Choice Awards—hosted by Chelsea Handler in Santa Monica, Calif., Jan. 4—where they’re both nominated for their performances in the film.

Indeed, while Chase was speaking with E!'s CreatorCam host Erin Lim Rhodes, Teyana—who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress alongside Ariana Grande, Amy Madigan, Wunmi Mosaku, Elle Fanning and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas—walked up and gave Chase a kiss on the cheek before the pair squealed with excitement.

After checking in with Chase—nominated alongside Amanda Seyfried, Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Renate Reinsve, and Emma Stone—Teyana also gave Erin some insight into one of her first loves in Hollywood.

“My first celebrity crush was Richard Gere in Pretty Woman,” she said. “I probably was like 6 or 7, had no business even watching it. I was like, ‘Richard Gere!’”

But the All’s Fair actress hasn’t just spoken about her love for one of her earliest Hollywood crushes as of late. In fact, she recently detailed her friendship with costar Leonardo DiCaprio—also nominated at the Critics Choice Awards—and the advice he has given her  for awards season.

“Pacing myself and having fun with it,” she told E! News Dec. 9 of her costar’s encouragement. “Don’t start going down no rabbit holes, just have fun with it and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”

Beyond Leo’s advice for awards season, Teyana has previously noted that she and the Oscar winner built a strong bond while working together, too.

“Leo is a good time,” she told E! at the One Battle After Another premiere in September. “He’s so much fun. That’s my brother. He’s a mentor and a great leader on set.”

And the feeling is, of course, mutual for the Titanic star.

“She’s got the best sense of humor,” Leo added to E! at the premiere. “I knew when she was brought into this movie, I was like, ‘This girl is gonna bring the heat.’ And she did. She’s an amazing hang. She’s awesome.”
