Abigail Breslin attended the Sundance Film Festival for the 20th anniversary screening of Little Miss Sunshine, marking her first red carpet in nearly two years.

Abigail Breslin is stepping into the sunshine.
The Little Miss Sunshine star, who earned an Oscar nomination at 11 years old for her breakout performance in the 2006 film, made a rare public appearance to attend the movie’s 20th anniversary screening at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
At the Jan. 28 event, where she was joined by costars Paul Dano, Toni Collette and Greg Kinnear, Abigail sported an auburn-colored sweater and matching skirt as she walked the red carpet.
During the screening, the Zombieland alum—whose last red carpet outing was in April 2024—snapped a selfie with her crew and shared it to Instagram Jan. 29, writing in the caption, “Another blurry selfie courtesy of ya girl.”
In addition to celebrating the 20th anniversary of the cult classic film, Abigail commemorated another special milestone this week with her husband Ira Kunyansky. Indeed, the 29-year-old marked three years of marriage with the self-described “cryptoconnoisseur” in a heartwarming anniversary post.
“Happy 3 year wedding anniversary, babekin,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a selfie of the pair. “I love u so much.”
Since tying the knot in 2023, Abigail has detailed how she and Ira enjoy spending time together.

“We also are very obsessed with Dateline and 20/20,” she told People in 2024. “So, we love watching any murder mystery things together. There's this YouTube channel called the ‘Impossible Channel,’ and we watch all of the creepy videos online. Most people get creeped out, but we fall asleep through that. So it's like we're creepy together. We're just creepy people."
As for Abigail’s favorite part of being married to Ira?
“I get to hang out with my best friend all the time, which is really fun,” she continued. “I hate that he takes the blankets and doesn't keep his sink clean enough, that's my biggest issue, but my best thing is that he is my best friend and I love going to hang out with him for the rest of my life."
