Golden Globes 2026 Biggest Winners: Timothée Chalamet, One Battle After Another & More

Robin Wright has lost this round of “Siblings or Dating?”

The Girlfriend actress admitted on the Golden Globes 2026 red carpet that she initially misunderstood the relationship between Dancing With the Stars duo Derek Hough and Julianne Hough

“Can I tell you something?” Robin asked Derek in an Extra interview outside the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., Jan. 11. “When I first saw her dance, I was like, ‘They’re married!’”

But Derek was able to dance through the could-be awkward moment. “Oh yeah,” he responded. “We get that sometimes.”

Still, the 40-year-old—who welcomed his first baby, Everly Capri, with wife Hayley Erbert in December—emphasized, “Brother and sister!"

“You guys are amazing together,” Robin assured. “I follow you guys on Instagram and watch you guys move.”

And while Robin and Derek’s interaction is certainly eyebrow-raising, it is far from the only memorable moment at the Nikki Glaser-hosted ceremony. In fact, the emcee tipped her hat to The White Lotus incest storyline between Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sam Nivola in her monologue by making fun of another sibling duo that sometimes get confused for romantic partners, Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott.

“Did you guys actually know that The White Lotus season three was the first show to feature incest,” Nikki said amid the 83rd annual ceremony, “Since Property Brothers season all of them? That’s so interesting, right?”

The evening’s host also couldn’t help but poke fun at several more Hollywood stars throughout the evening, including making a joke about Leonardo DiCaprio’s relationship with 27-year-old Vittoria Ceretti

"What a career you've had,” Nikki told the 51-year-old. “I mean, countless iconic performances, you've worked with every great director. You've won three Golden Globes, an Oscar. And the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30. I mean, it's just insane.”
