Rob Schneider, 62, and wife Patricia, 37, divorce after 15 years of marriage

Rob Schneider’s marriage to wife Patricia has officially come to an end after more than a decade together.

The Daily Mail has confirmed that 37-year-old Patricia Azarcoya has filed for divorce from her 62-year-old husband, Rob Schneider, in Arizona. 

After the complaint was filed on December 8, an order and notice to attend parent education/information program class was also filed.

Patricia, per the divorce summary, is requesting the court to keep documents confidential. 

The court appears to have agreed to this order on January 21 although details of the confidentiality remain unknown at this time.

Rob has yet to respond to the divorce filing although he confirmed with the Court that he had successfully got a hold of the divorce petition.

 Daily Mail has not received a response to its request for comment from reps for Schneider.

The former couple share two daughters, Miranda Scarlett, 13, and Madeline Robbie, 10.

Schneider is also father to singer-songwriter Elle King, 36, from a previous relationship.

The Hot Chick star and the Mexican actress reported first met in 2007 on a TV project Patricia was working on. 

Rob was 44 at the time, while Patricia was just 19. 

Sparks flew, and they married in April 2011 in an intimate Beverly Hills ceremony.

'Patricia and I were surrounded by our closest friends and family; it was the happiest day of my life,' Rob said at the time. 'We had a great time at the wedding and are looking forward to our honeymoon.'

The couple went on to have two daughters, Miranda in November 2012 and Madeline in September 2016. 

'The world just got 7.6 lbs more beautiful,' Rob said of Madeline. 

On their 10th anniversary, Patricia shared a sweet Instagram tribute: '10 years and counting!!!! No one is funnier than you husbando. Thanks for my beautiful babies. I love you para siempre.'

Rob and Patricia also worked together professionally. 

They starred as themselves with their daughters on Netflix’s Real Rob, a loosely autobiographical sitcom, and Patricia produced, wrote, and appeared in 2022’s family film Daddy Daughter Trip, which also featured their daughters and a cameo from Adam Sandler’s wife, Jackie Sandler. 

'My kids will have this forever. They’ll be able to show their kids this movie that we made as a family,' Rob said in December 2023. 'And that’s beautiful.'

Schneider is also father to Grammy-nominated singer King from his first marriage to London King. 

Elle’s relationship with her father has been complicated, and she has spoken publicly about childhood struggles. 

'My whole childhood, my dad was a workaholic,' she told People in 2018.

She later reconnected with Rob after the birth of her half-sisters. 'We both have grown up a lot. And you realize what's important,' she said. 

'Him having children - I wanted my sisters to have good memories of me from their childhood when they grew. Family really is so important. 

'So through that, me just kind of showing up and trying to be good for them, really made it easy because there were no bad motives. When it's about the kids, the bulls*** kind of goes away. I love him.'

Their relationship hit another rough patch in 2024 after Elle discussed her childhood on the Dumb Blonde podcast, including claims she was sent to 'fat camp' and went 'four or five years' without speaking to her dad.

Schneider publicly apologized, though Elle said it didn’t fully resonate. 

She stressed she was 'not trying to hurt' him by speaking honestly.

Despite the ups and downs, all three of Schneider’s daughters have followed him into entertainment, appearing alongside him on screen or pursuing their own careers.
