Some of the world’s most popular video games are as much about creating as they are about playing. Whether it be building your own maps from scratch or even designing your own skins. It’s a process that can seem intimidating from the outside looking in, but PUBG MOBILE’s World of Wonder (WOW) and Ptopia Design Project (PDP) have been created with both experienced creators and curious new players in mind.
PUBG MOBILE’s WOW and PDP platforms make creating maps, costumes, and more easier than ever. Whether you’re just starting out on your creative journey, or looking for a more in-depth toolset, PUBG MOBILE’s creator platforms are for you.
For aspiring creators, WOW and PDP aren’t just platforms, but gateways to recognition, rewards, and growth. In December, creators from around the world gathered at the 2025 PMGC in Bangkok, where 16 standout creators were celebrated on a global stage during the Co-Creation Festival. Six World of Wonder creators went head-to-head in the WonderPick Co-creation Show, which was also livestreamed to players across the world, with the celebration spilling into the city with the debut of a giant Lone Survivor helmet, collaboratively graffitied by 10 PDP creators, highlighting the creativity of PUBG MOBILE’s thriving creator ecosystem.
Join The Millions Of PUBG MOBILE Players Making Their Own Maps Using WOW
PUBG MOBILE players have already created a combined 5.4 million maps, with over 8.5 million daily players at its peak. More maps are created each day with an emphasis on encouraging PUBG MOBILE players old and new, whether they’ve created content like this before or not, to get involved.
“WOW helped me level up my skills a lot. I went from simple designs to fun maps. What surprised me most is how much I improved without even noticing at first.” - sheetablackk
For creators like sheetablackk, winner of both the Popular Creator Award and Earning Star Award, WOW has also given them a tool to grow their own creative content style and online followership. sheetablackk now has over a million subscribers on TikTok with content shot over the 2025 PMGC, achieving 2.6 million views, allowing them to showcase their content and share others' creations for more inspiration. “WOW’s support systems have really motivated me as a creator. Rewards and contests push me to try new ideas, community visibility lets me share my maps with more players, and in-game publishing makes it easy for others to play my creations. All of this has helped me grow faster and stay inspired.”
“Making the map enjoyable is one of the toughest challenges. It’s easy to come up with an idea, but it’s hard to shape it in the best way to make it truly fun. I used to take map creation as a hobby, but when I realized there were competitions I could win, my perspective on creation changed to become more professional,” states Mario, winner of both the Earnings Leader Award and Contest Star Collector Award. Today, Mario’s journey reflects both creativity and perseverance, transforming a passion into a professional skill, learning from the community, and constantly pushing his limits to make maps that players truly enjoy. “I had a clear weakness in programming, and I improved it when I learned from other map creators as we exchanged knowledge. And honestly, I was surprised by my huge growth in programming during that period.”
WOW 1.0’s creation suite ensures even the most inexperienced of creators will feel right at home via its visual programming, and with an AI assistant guiding you every step of the way, should you need it. Those first steps can be as simple or complex as you like. No need to keep it simple out the blocks if you don’t want to. Make those maps as intricate as you like, and feel confident while you do it.
During a contest, ATR·HEMI from Egypt, winner of the Creator of the Year: Best Collaboration Creation Award, pushed a concept they had never tried before. “The tools were flexible enough to let me experiment freely and actually finish something I wouldn’t have attempted elsewhere. I’ve become faster, more intentional, and better at problem-solving. The biggest surprise is how creative I can get when I have the right tools in front of me. WOW became more than creating maps; it was a space where my engineering skills and creativity could thrive together. It opened my eyes to new possibilities, blending virtual creativity with the real world.”
“WOW support systems motivated me a lot. The publishing tools helped me to improve my maps and design skills. I like creating maps where players work together to progress, without fights or confusion.”– iSaud, winner of the Popular Creator: Puzzle Award
Create Costumes, Vehicles, Firearms, And More With The Support Of PUBG MOBILE’s PDP
PDP works a little differently, running in parallel to WOW but fueled by competition as PUBG MOBILE players create everything, including character costumes, vehicles, even new firearms. In 2025, PDP recognised 1,366 winners, with 36 community-created designs officially added to PUBG MOBILE, reinforcing the program’s mission to turn player creativity into in-game reality.
“The events and competitions are super exciting, and PUBG MOBILE always makes sure creators are compensated fairly and involved enough.” - ShazTOKYO, winner of the Best Outfit Design Silver Award
There are numerous competitions held each year during which PDP submissions can be made, with professional artists to casual fans entering their creations for consideration. Much like WOW, your experience level doesn’t matter. If you have ideas and you want to see them potentially become a reality, all are welcome.
More than 3,000 fan-made creations have already been added to the PUBG MOBILE portfolio, with 20 or more of them being officially added to the game each year. Get acquainted with PDP’s creation suite, and something you dreamt up could one day make it into that portfolio, and even be added to the game itself. Creators in PDP come from all different backgrounds, looking to explore a new community creative outlet.
PDP creator Peachfull from Indonesia, an art teacher turned concept artist and winner of the Best Fan Art Silver Award, reflects on her journey: “Joining the PDP community reignited my creative passion and propelled me to grow rapidly, pushing beyond my perceived limits.
Here, every experiment - success or setback - becomes a valuable lesson, continuously sharpening my skills. PDP has not only brought me gold awards and recognition but, more importantly, has helped me discover my true creative mission. It inspires me to pursue greater innovation, maturity, and impact in every new piece I create.”
Youta, an interior designer, artist, and mother from Egypt, discovered PUBG MOBILE during her pregnancy, and it became the catalyst for an extraordinary creative journey. Winner of the Regional Spotlight Silver Award, she reflects: “My journey with PDP began as I stepped into motherhood, and it ignited a profound creative breakthrough. To start from nothing and see my work officially featured and credited in the game has been transformative. PDP has done more than validate my effort and imagination—it has given me a global stage to share and celebrate the narratives of Arab and Ancient Egyptian heritage through design. It is where my art finds its light, pushing me to unveil more of the timeless beauty held within these cultures."
LD SEBAS, winner of the Regional Spotlight Gold Award, is a PDP creator from Mexico and a passionate advocate of regional culture. “Sometimes the road gets dark or uncertain, but PUBG MOBILE and PDP have been that light at the end of the tunnel that drives me to keep creating and, above all, to feel that everything I do is really worth it. My motivation is to become a featured artist for PUBG MOBILE and my region.”
