Patsy Kensit has claimed that she had a 'secret affair' with Terence Stamp when she was just 23, despite the pair's 30-year age gap.

The actress, now 57, said the relationship began in the early 1990s while working together on the crime thriller Prince of Shadows, which was filmed in Madrid. 

Terence, an Oscar-nominated actor best known for his role in the original Superman films, passed away in Los Angeles last year aged 87.

According to Patsy, they were first introduced at a Chelsea dinner party through a mutual friend. 

Not long after, she was cast as Rebeca in the Spanish film and personally suggested Terence for the lead role of Darman, bringing them back together on set.

Describing their connection, she told The Sun: 'We were star-crossed lovers and he was a total gentleman.

'Even though there was an age gap, we had a strong bond. He was an amazing and generous lover.'

Once filming ended, the pair continued seeing each other in London, with Patsy often visiting him at his Piccadilly flat. 

Looking back, she described the time fondly and that It was a 'lost few months in my life'.

The romance eventually fizzled out when Patsy left the UK to film Timebomb in 1991, later admitting she chose to end the relationship, adding that she was 'young and stupid.'

Terence, who played the arch-villain General Zod in the 'Superman' and 'Superman II' movies, passed away in August 2025.

His family said in a statement: 'He leaves behind an extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come. 

'We ask for privacy at this sad time.' 

It comes after Patsy shared a sweet throwback snap with her son Lennon as she paid a heartfelt tribute to him.

The EastEnders actress shares the 26-year-old with her ex-husband Liam Gallagher and took to Instagram on Friday to post a snap of him as a young boy.

The photo appeared to be taken on Lennon's birthday as it showed Patsy presenting him with a cake.

In her post, Patsy wrote: 'My precious baby boy… I love you so so much and I'm so proud of you and your wonderful brother James.

'I'm so blessed to have you in my life and for spending time with me… I love watching 'the chase ' with you Lennon and you're so bloody good at it.

'Wishing love gratitude happiness and peace of mind to everyone. I am truly grateful. PS it's not Lennon's birthday today he was born in September just a pic with a cake we made together… just love this pic❤️'.

Patsy is also mother to older son James, 32, from her marriage to Simple Minds singer Jim Kerr.
