One-Punch Man might go down in history as the biggest disappointment in anime. The webcomic and manga that the series is based off are both exceptional, and the first season of the anime showed off just how great Saitama looks on screen. The second season wasn't great, but the third season is atrocious.

The third season of One-Punch Man is so bad it feels like an insult to fans of the franchise. Luckily, there's a new video out that shows just how great future arcs of the franchise can look, and even the artist behind One-Punch Man's manga acknowledged the video's undeniable quality.

One-Punch Man Is a Massive Disappointment

One-Punch Man's fall off is heartbreaking. The first season of the anime could easily be considered one of the best seasons of anime ever, and it has been anything but positive since. Madhouse did an excellent job at bringing the high-flying action of the series to life, and their absence during the second and third seasons has been felt the world over.

The second season of One-Punch Man, now animated by J.C. Staff, wasn't as well animated, but it wasn't bad enough to consider the season a flop. The third season, however, has been so much worse that it's shocking. It's hard to understand all the reasons behind One-Punch Man's downfall.

What started as one of the funniest, most captivating shōnen series around has turned into a dumpster fire of terrible animation. J.C. Staff has been given a limited budget and a strict timeframe for the project, so it's not entirely their fault. Bandai Namco owns a lot of rights behind One-Punch Man, and their decision to lower the budget for the anime has led to its downfall.

Fans aren't willing to quit on this franchise, however, and one new fan-made video shows just how good the series can be. Yusuke Murata, the artist behind the One-Punch Man manga, even liked the video on Twitter, acknowledging its absurdly good quality liked the video on Twitter.

This Video Could Save One-Punch Man

A new fan-made One-Punch Man video has taken the internet by storm. Created by YouTube accounts OMARU ANIMATIONS, Smiley- the animator, notL, Paul Owen Music, seikatsu audio, and Yngre, this amazing video shows what One-Punch Man should look like.

Fan-made content like this amazing video does a great job of showing just how loved certain franchises are. This video proves that even though the third season of One-Punch Man looks terrible, dedicated anime lovers aren't willing to throw their beloved franchise away.

This top-tier project showcases Saitama's fight against Garou. It's an ambitious fight to animate, as Garou and Saitama are fighting on a literal galactic level. If only fans like these six had the time and budget to animate the entire season, then maybe One-Punch Man could be restored to its former glory.
